Chapter38: The cat's out of the bag

"I don't believe this." Rebecca said as she slowly drop into the seat om Anthony's office. Yesterday after my talk with Detective Gemstone, I message both Andy and Becca to meet me at his office to talk about something important. Not telling them much, just that I needed to talk to them both.

They joked that I wanted to tell them that David and I has dating for a long time and have kept it private. What was the most shocking thing they thought of was that I was pregnant with his baby.
I swear my siblings can really be the most ridiculous people I've ever met.

But when I finally told them the important stuff, the playful tease about my love life was forgotten. Just like I've Detective Gemstone everything that I've found and know of, I shared with Becca and Andy.
I've showed them the pictures of Karen's name on the canvas with his symbol and bunnies along with the video of Angela and Jensen on my graduation.

I gave Detective Gemstone a flash drive that had the video on which I've had saved it on since the night of my graduation. Despite drinking and partying and everything else that had happened on that day, I managed to send the video to the drive and the cloud on my phone in my drunken state of mind.

"So, Angela and Jensen is planning to bankrupt Johnny to the bone?" Andy asked, running all of the information through his mind. Trying to make sense of everything, "Because of what Johnny and Tris did to them when they were in high school?"

"It's more than that," I argued, this is something that I've thought about a lot yesterday. With everything being so much clearer than before, "It's not just about Angela and Jensen want to get back at Johnathan. It's people from middle and high school, those who not only bullied them, but also belittle them.
Most of those people are successful, those with a thriving business, they not only bankrupt them, but also cause damages to their business' that most of them were forced to close."

David and I have been reading business articles on most of those people and have notice a pattern. For the successful people who owns a business or company, hires a new accountant to do their books, small problems occurs, the security fails before the business gets bankrupt.

Angela comes to ClickBook as an accountant, cause distrust with Lucy when she kidnap her son.
Struggled to get a foothold into the security and her only chance of getting in and get what she wants is to have Johnathan propose to her.

"And you knew about it!!" Rebecca yelled at me angrily. I knew that either her or Andy would react this way, that was why I asked David to stay at campus. He would have tried to stand up to my siblings, but this is something that I have to face alone. At least for now.

"You knew what those two monsters were planning to do and you kept it all to yourself?!"

"First of all, I didn't keep it to myself," I argued with my sister, I've prepared myself well enough to argue with my siblings once they've heard the truth. This wouldn't be my first rode, we've had many of arguments with each other that we could write books about. "Second, I've tried many of times to stop Angela and Jensen without them knowing that I was. And thirdly, I was PROTECTING Johnathan!!"

"How?!" Becca stood up from her seat, pretty sure that she was starting to see red as she was staring at me. Andy pushed his chair slightly to the back, in case he might have to stand between the two of us.

Which he and Johnathan have done before when we were younger, both Becca and I had many of times where we would have gotten too heated up that words are replace with hits. "You waited until Johnny ask Angela to marry him to tell us about her.
Only when Rose's apartment got vandalized and our niece got a death threat, you finally decide to go to the police?!"
