Chapter8: The McLellan's Home

Tuesday's lectures went pretty quick if you ask me, although I only had three of them throughout the day unlike Penny and everyone else. For nearly the whole morning I haven't seen David, besides having Charlotte and Ryan joining Peyton, Janelle, Kevin, Daytona, Franklin and myself for breakfast at Rockstar.

Surprisingly I would only have English lecture after tomorrow and it was the only course that I have with David and Ryan together.
Trying to think of other things rather than not seeing David for the morning, I started listening to Charlie's conversation with Janelle, Daytona, Frankie and Kevin while Ryan was off to soccer practice.

Which is normally on a Monday, Thursday and Saturday, although according to RyRy, yesterday Coach Richard had a meeting and that was why he cancelled the practice.

Meaning that Wednesday's practice became Tuesday's practice. "But seriously, will you teach me how to make a remix after practice, please Frankie?"

Frankie stared at Charlie for one or two heartbeats before nodding, "Yeah, I can teach you a thing or two, if you promise to help me out on one of my own that I'm working on."

If Charlotte wasn't smiling as wide as she was before, then she was doing it right now, "You got yourself a deal."

"You're thinking of becoming a Dj, Charlie?" Janelle asked while zipping her jacket down to show off her neon blue crop top with her bellybutton ring which caught a glance of sunlight as we were walking.
According to Janelle, a bellybutton piercing is the most painful piercings anyone can get and can take longer to heal from time to time.

Ever since Daytona has told us that she wants to get her first piercings, Janelle, Peyton and I have been putting some money together for her while the guys promise to try holding her hand and won't take any videos when the time comes.

Charlie shook her head to answer Janelle's question, "Nah, it's more of a hobby than a career path for me, besides I would like to become a music teacher someday."

"Why a music teacher?" Daytona asked as we took a turn in building D going past the dance studio to walk Charlie and Frankie to the music room. Since we still had twenty more minutes to kill until dance practice starts for us and it's a great excuse to see other parts of the building as well.

When Charlie was asked why she wanted to become a music teacher, her face lit up with so much excitement and happiness before speaking, "I love music ever since I was a kid, I've always loved it. I would always want to learn a song wither by a guitar, piano, violin, drums or any other instruments that I can play and enjoy playing each one of them.

I have a passion for helping others and believe that children should be taught how to play at least one instrument. Also I love kids, I love being around them and they're the future of our world and we should be doing everything we can to shape them into better people before it's too late."

You can always tell when someone is passionate about something by the way they speak about it, how much their smile widen or how bright their face lights up.
And Charlie has just proven her passion to all of us, Frankie threw an arm around her shoulders saying, "One day when you become a music teacher, you better teach those kids how to Dj once I taught you, alright."

Five minutes later, we stopped by the music room which had classical music playing behind a black door with golden musical notes painted on. While a few voices were doing harmony singing, all sounding very lovely all together.

Inside had a lot of light coming in from the windows as well as having so many instruments standing and hanging around orderly. Many of the people I've seen before when sitting in KAU's cafeteria or I would greet on mine and Penny's morning jog before our work out were here too.
