The friendly game was only forty-five minutes, and we were already on the second half. With the score being tied for both teams.
During the first half, David and nearly half of his team has been doing everything they have to get a goal pass me.
They only got lucky twice out of eighteen tries.Logan was the only one in the whole team who had been listening to me than the rest.
Since there wasn't really a captain in our team, everyone was basically doing their own thing, listening to their own voice.
Coach Richard has been taking notice of everyone playing on both teams. Watching everyone's skills, not stopping the game to kick anyone out. . . yet.Which I'm sure that everyone's nerves are in panic mode and have no control over them for a second. Because every kick, every passing, every block, and every score can help you get on the team or not.
There were only twenty minutes left and was going pass fast. And me being cooped up in a box wasn't fun or exciting anymore.
I say that with a very light heart to all goalkeepers who may have heard my thought.I want to score so badly, want to run pass these guys, just like I would do in every game that I have played for my old team. Logan has been trying to have some order in the team that had work well for at least six minutes. Before these bozos go back to not having order and start listening to their own voices.
That's how we got two balls entering into our goalpost in the last minutes of first half. Personally I wasn't a fan of.
By nineteen minutes, Logan was leading with the ball, zip zagging pass nearly everyone on the A team. Having David and another guy chasing after him. Logan passed the ball to one of the forwarders on our team before passing it back to him to take a shot right at the bottom corner. It would have gone in if Logan had kicked it with just enough power for the ball to pass Ryan's hands. But then again it was a great shot that he took. Logan scored one of our goals while another guy with spiky hairstyle that makes him look a bit younger than seventeen.
By this far, I was nearly close to a meltdown for not having to score our try breaker. My legs were burning to run out of my box and take all of will power to shut those thoughts down. Get my head in the game.
Staring down at my Apple Watch Series2 to check the timer that I've put on before the game started. It showed that there was fifteen minutes left and my nerves were eating me up slowly.
Ryan threw the ball to the defender on the right wing of the field who kicked it to the center fielder who tried getting past Logan. Until back kicking the ball to someone behind him who shoots it into the air.
David and two more guys followed the ball until one of them caught it on their chest, running with the ball towards where I was standing. My muscles tighten up, and my mind zoom in on the game plan that was playing in front of me. My eyes fixed on all three guys as they basically walked over my so called 'defenders'. Just before giving the ball to their captain.
David was the one who scored their first two goals and I'm on a mission of not letting a third one get pass me.He shot the ball from the penalty which flew towards me like a lightning bolt. And by true pure luck, I punched it out of the box.
By luck, I blocked it, because David was a good player with crazy skills. And it was only him who could get two balls pass me.
Once the ball was out of the box and landed out of the field, Coach Richard signalled it as a corner kick and everyone were already covering the box.Whenever there was a corner kick that sometimes nearly everyone on the field would stand on top of me. Blinding my view from the corners of the field and screaming doesn't always help. Thankfully I would stop every ball that would come and hands to them either Logan or spiky hair to score for our team.
