What was that ?
The way you embraced me, full body no break
Your hand sneaking to the back of my neck
Knees falling weak
Shushing me as I melt
Are you going to drop my heart when yours beats in my ears ?
The only moment our eyes meet, you stand as if no crime was committed
Did you read my thoughts or was I reading your mind ?
Did the tension build up or were we falling apart ?
Maybe together, maybe in love, maybe our hands could intertwine
Should I listen when they say "set up a wall and protect your soul" ?
But my soul screams from the depths and the words echo around my head
Till they find a way to walk out making it known
"I AM YOURS AND YOU ARE MINE"
Mi alma, I've called you so many times already don't you get it ?
Alma de mi alma and my entire being
I've forgotten who everybody else is unconsciously reaching for you
