JUST WHAT exactly does Elisa wanted that she needed to see him this late? And what does Leon wanted to hear that after his conversation with Zachariel, he came rushing to see this woman? If he was only talking about himself from the past, he would have thought that he was still interested in Elisa. But right now, it was just all different, to be honest.

When Elisa's face brightened as soon as she caught a glimpse of his nearing figure, it made Leon feel irked inside. He can't find the same amusement he used to have whenever she's around. Well, yes. She is still a beauty, she's still someone every men would want to settle down with, the woman every men like him wanted to bear their children, that kind of thoughts.

But his preferences recently changed. All thanks to that motherfudging Keith Gaviola. Hell, he even used their code red in their group chat just so he could ask if he's still normal or if he should sacrifice himself to Satan!

"Pumunta ka! 'Kala ko, 'di ka na papayag dahil 'di ba, kauuwi mo lang galing sa bakasyon mo?" Ganito ang naging bungad sa kanya ng dalaga. Sinabayan pa iyon ni Elisa ng paghawak sa dibdib para huminga nang maluwang. "Kumusta ang bakasyon mo?"

Did he just go here to answer that stupid question? Pupwede namang pag-usapan ito via text or chat. Talagang pinagsayang siya ng gas para kitain ang isang ito?

And Leon does not want to be an asshole but if she keeps on beating around the bushes, he can't help it but to show his true colors and disinterest in seeing her.

Kung siya lang ang papipiliin, mas gusto niyang daanan si Keith sa kanila kaso siguradong abala iyong mag-ayos ng mga gamit o hindi kaya nagpapahinga ito ngayon. Alas otso na ng gabi, e. Ayaw niyang abalahin ang asungot na iyon.

"Kung ganito lang itatanong mo, ba't 'di ka na lang nag-chat sa 'kin?" he deadpanned.

His question made Elisa startled but he wasn't someone who'd take his tone back when his time was wasted. Keith knew about this that was why back then, he made sure that he had business with Leon before paying him a visit.

Nito lang naman naging makapal ang mukha ni Keith dahil inii-spoil din niya.

"Oh, no." Mahinang tumawa si Elisa pero halatang itinatago lang nito ang pagkadismaya dahil sa kawalan niya ng interes. "Gusto talaga kitang makita ngayon."

"Why's that? Pupwede naman yatang ipagpabukas 'to. Pagod ako sa byahe, Eli," blangko ang mukhang aniya.

Isa pa, marami silang aktibidad na ginawa ni Keith noong bakasyon nila. Bukod sa gumala, syempre. Hindi siya nito pinatulog dahil mukhang totoo ngang miss na miss siya nito. Kung sa bagay, ilang buwan silang walang maayos na pagkikita. Kaya noong nakabawi, halos hindi na siya bitawan noong isa.

"Alam ko pero gusto kitang makita ngayon, Leon," pagdadahilan ni Elisa.

Kumibot ang isang kilay niya. He's supposed to say something between the words 'nasayang ang oras ko' and 'this is stupid' but he kept his mouth shut so that he won't offend this woman further.

Bumagsak ang mga balikat ni Leon. Gusto niyang mapahilamos ng mukha ngunit nang mapagtantong baka masyadong bastos ang ganoong klase ng reaksyon, pinigil niya ang sarili. Sa halip, kinagat ni Leon ang dila para bigyan pa ng oras ang sarili na mag-isip.

Naputol nga lang ang 'oras' sana niya nang kumapit si Elisa sa braso siya at dumikit sa kanya.

And of course, Leon felt uncomfortable! His body shook unconsciously, thinking that the way he tried to separate himself from Elisa was nothing but normal! Also, it wasn't a wonder that Elisa would feel awkward and embarrassed right after Leon broke free from her touch! She probably never thought about this because back then, Leon was so into her.
