Where the fuck are we?
Oh, right. Bokuto's place... The hell does that kid do? Run a mafia?! This place reminds me of Kai's castle, even down to the city in the distance and the dragon flying over it... The dragon flying over it?
Springing up from the empty bed, I stumble my way to the balcony realizing this dream is a little too real for my liking. From the details of the columns on either end of the balcony to the sweet aroma of the garden below, every last detail is the exact spitting image of Kai's castle...
This is a dream. That's the only way I can see this being possible.
"I see you're up early as usual. Gazing into the sunrise thinking of your dearly departed again?" Oh, fucking bloody hell. CAN I NOT JUST GO A DAY WITHOUT THE FEAR OF THIS BITCH ACTUALLY COMING BACK AND RUINING MY LIFE?!
THE WHOLE FUCKING POINT OF RUNNING AND BEING SCARED OF WHATEVER HIS NAME IS, IS TO ESCAPE THE FEAR AND OVERWHELMING ANXIETY I GET THINKING OF HOW HE CAN BE KAI REINCARNATED COMING BACK AS ROMAN SAID.
BUT NOOO. PUT MY SUBCONCIOUSNESS THROUGH THE RINGER GOING THROUGH PAST EVENTS IN MY PAST LIFE AND INCREASE THE FEELING OF TERROR IN ME WHY DONTCHA.
"You keep neglecting me because you're still tied to your beloved Hisoka," He stands beside me on the balcony turning around to lean against the railing. Keeping my eyes on the rabbit in the garden, I don't say a word.
From the moment I recognized him behind me, my body tensed up in fear, afraid to even breathe too hard. He just stands there with his eyes on me and his arms folded over his chest
" I've abided by your 3 conditions. You got your own room, I won't attempt to make any moves on you and the third is already set in place, once spring passes however, I expect you to deliver your end of the bargain and give me a male heir. No matter how many times it may take,"
I AGREED to WHAT?! HE SAID WHAT?!
"That being said, you claim to still be and will forever be faithful to your jester, I will get you to be mine, one way or another," It's almost as if he's spitting on Hisoka's name and it irks me so badly. With that comment, he walks away leaving me alone on the balcony.
This persona is completely different from the side I know. Though, a lot of things don't add up. He says I am to give him an heir, but the king after him bore no resemblance to him at all. Come to think of it, if Kai is immortal, why would he even have successors? Where was he all that time?
Looking down, realization hits me as the pieces of the puzzle start to fit together.
"Love?" Hisoka nudges waking me up. Some timing, I had just made a realization and now I forgot what it was entirely. Thanks, Hisoka.
"Hmm?" I groan pulling the covers over me.
"You alright? There was an intense earthquake just now and I don't believe the forecast predicted any natural disasters this week," He coos softly. Shit.
"Sorry," I groan rolling back over to face him. He cups my cheek in his hand brushing it with his thumb. Taking in the room around me, again I say, does Bokuto run a mafia or something?! The grey walls and expensive black furniture give the room a classy look, everything pristine and new.
"I made pancakes, chocolate chip ones at that," He bribes.
"If you love me, you'll bring them to me," I chirp with an innocent smile plastered across my face. He chuckles and gets up from the bed.
"I do love you darling, but you need to get out of bed. It's 2 pm," As much as I would love to stay entangled in these comfy sheets, I'm hungry and Hisoka is a great cook so pancakes here I come.
