Sal's POV

It was 3 days after Mrs.phelps funeral. Me and Travis were sitting on the couch watching a movie with gizmo spread across me and his lap.

"Gizmo you fat cat were trying to watch a movie."

"Hey don't call him fat!"

Travis pet him and gizmo purred

"See he's a good cat, your just mean to him."

"Again taking his side."

He laughed and continued petting gizmo.

Finally we finished the movie and I slid off the couch groaning.

"Oh come on Sal stop being dramatic."

"I'm boreddddd and it's so hot todayyyyy."

"Now your whining? What are you 5?"

"That's classified."

"Whatever pigtails."

"HEY! I stopped wearing them!"

He snickered and I punched his leg.

"Noodle arms."

"Fuck off."

"No"

"Yes"

"N-"

"Meow"

We looked over at gizmo and he was staring at us unhappily.

"What now giz?"

"Meow."

He started walking away and I got up to follow him. He lead me to his empty food bowl.

"Meow"

"Ughhhh"

I got some cat food out of a bag and poured it into his bowl.

"There now leave me alone."

"Meow meow"

"Sometimes you remind me of Larry, but like Larry in a fur suit. Oh god why did I say that now there's a horrible image engraved into my mind."

I walked out of the kitchen and back to the living room. Travis was upside down on the couch while scrolling through his phone.

I went behind the couch between his legs.

"Yes Sal?"

"Could we do something else today?"

"Hm?"

"I don't know maybe bake cookies or something."

"I guess that does Seem fun."

I went back into the kitchen, Travis followed shortly after.

"So what kind of cookies do we wanna make?"

"Chocolate chip."

"Those are boring."

"But there the easiest to make."

"Hm true."

We started setting everything out.

"I'm in charge of the dough, I don't trust you."
