"Baby! Breakfast is ready!" Natasha called up the stairs of the new home that the two found themselves in. It was modern and sleek and was kept extremely tidy. They both liked being clean and tidy, they liked to claim it eased their minds.
The house was relatively average as far as size. It was tucked away from the city, just far enough so they had some peace and quite, but not too far that they were unreachable when needed by the team. What was in the garage was what made this house so special. There laid a Koenigsegg Jesko. The exact one that Tony promised to help Anya buy. Money was never really a problem for the two but it was safe to say the car was a bit out of their price range. He also offered to pay for the house but the girls refused, wanting to be mostly independent.
They both only took part in missions when it was absolutely necessary and liked the break away from kicking ass for a bit.
They enjoyed the company but it did get a bit lonely sometimes. The brunette came running down the stairs, still in her pyjamas. She was ecstatic at the smell of pancakes. She normally ate oatmeal out of habit but she loved pancakes.
She walked up behind Red and placed her hands on her hips and lapped her head over the shoulder of the other woman.
"Hey babe. You know your an angel sent from heaven." She said as Natasha handed her a plate of pancakes and syrup. It was a nice treat from the usual.
"I know." The redhead said as placed a small kiss on Anya's lips. "But before you scoff those can you feed Max?" Max was the goat that the pair had got when they moved into the house. He was a Pygmy goat and was able to live in the house most of the time, they mostly just let him run around the garden and play with them or his toys.
He was weeny and was brown with black patches across his back and chest. His feet were also black.
"Of course. Max!" She yelled into the garden for him to come in and eat his breakfast. He was in the grass chasing butterflies when he heard his name. His head tilted at the sources of the sound, he then bounded into the house so he could investigate.
Anya placed his bowl on the floor and he dug straight into the food. For such a little creature he sure ate a lot.
Anya then grabbed two sets of cutlery and sat down at the table, Natasha soon joined her with her plate of pancakes.
Anya ate quite slowly and took her time to enjoy the food, Natasha, on the other hand loved food and ate very quickly.
It was only a couple of minutes until Natasha finished and Anya kept eating. "That CANNOT be good for you." The brunette commented on the speed of which she ate. She just shrugged and sighed a heavy breath, as if she was full up.
"I have the therapist at 11. Then we'll go shopping after, ok babe?" Anya got up to clean the dishes much to the protest of Natasha.
"No, don't worry about those, I'll do them." She tried to stop the Greek by taking the plates off of her.
"No! Where I come from, the cook doesn't clean. Go sit down." Her decision was final and Nat knew that there was no point fighting it.
Once all of the dishes were washed and dried she slumped herself down next to her girlfriend on the couch. Natasha curled up her legs and cuddled up to Anya. Anya began stroking her hair and kissing the top of her hair. It was still its vibrant red. It was normally straight once she was dressed but was messy now since they were taking the day off. Anya decided to leave hers longer and it cleared her shoulder and was mostly tucked up into a neat bun in top of her head.
Anya was going to therapy because she was having severe nightmares where she would wake up screaming and crying. She objected to the idea of telling someone else, other than Natasha, about her memories but Natasha demanded that she went. Sometimes it got so bad she could sleep in the bed so she slept on the floor. She went to a couple of sessions and found it wasn't so bad. The man was extremely kind and was really helping to improve.
"As much as I don't want to leave you... I've got to go meet Mr. Davis." She stood up and went to go get a shower, Nat protested and groaned as she got up.
She turned the water on and it was warm instantly, it was heavenly, the water pressure was heavy and covered her entire body. She ran her shampoo covered fingers through her hair and massaged the cream into her hair. She then used a full body soap and cleaned the rest of her figure.
She stood out of the shower and wrapped a towel around her chest and hair. She walked into the bedroom where Nat had so kindly picked out a suit for her. It was a black suit with a white shirt, and some white trainers. Anya didn't really do smart so compromised for the suit with the trainers.
Once she had done her hair and got dressed she headed downstairs to say goodbye to her girlfriend. What Natasha didn't know was that Anya planned to make her her wife. She thought deeply about it and came to the conclusion that she couldn't live without her in her life, so decided she would pull the trigger soon.
"Hey baby, I'm leaving now." She said to Natasha who seemed invested in what was in the TV. "I hope you not watching prison break without me?" The two had found a series on Netflix that they both enjoyed and watched it together.
"I would never." She pause the TV, which was actually just some random news station. She had a smirk on she face from the sight of Anya.
"You look beautiful.""Stop ogling, I'm all yours." She joked back to her partner. "Give me a kiss." Anya said as Natasha jumped around her waist, they locked lips for a moment before she put her down.
"I'll be back in like an hour or so." She said as she ducked down into the hypercar.
"Ok, be careful. I know how you drive." She said with a playful smile in her lips.
"Yeah, yeah. I love you." She said as she started to roll down the gravel driveway. Anya revved the car before speeding around the corner. Natasha shook her head as she walked back inside.
What would have been a forty minute drive was actually 20 minutes because she loved to put the pedal to the metal. She pulled up to a red light as she was entering the city. A Ferrari pulled up along side her at the lights.
"Hey babe. Wanna go toe to toe?" He asked as her rolled down his window. He was gawking at the gorgeous woman driving a sports car. If you couldn't tell the car drew a lot of attention given that it was so rare and expensive.
She simply looked at him and revved the car. It had a beautiful sound, a proper loud and smooth sound. He did the same but it didn't come close to the sound of hers. She gripped the steering wheel and prepared to dust the man next to her.
The lights flashed green and his start was better than hers. She didn't stress however and continued to rinse the car for every inch of power. "See yaaa." She said as she flew past him.
"Good girl." She was one of those people who referred to their cars as a girl. As she entered the city all eyes where turned to her, or rather the car she drove. She loved all of the eyes and attention on her, it made her feel special.
There was couple of cameras flashing and people gathering around her to get a closer look at her and her car. The entire world knew that she was an Avenger and was involved with Natasha and she had no shame in that. She didn't have social media but she knew people didn't like the fact she was a female avenger or that she was lesbian but she didn't care less what they thought, they normal lived a life with a normal 9-5 job and where sad all day and she was living her best life.
