THIS IS PART 2 OF THE DOUBLE UPDATE // MAKE SURE TO READ CHAPTER 56 FIRST

POV: BAYLIN GRIGGS

I hear the sound of the entrance door creaking, slowly being opened by someone or something— the light sound waking me from a very pleasant dream.

I stay still, not entirely knowing if I had woken up, or if I was still dreaming. The doorframe was out of my field of vision, so I couldn't see anything.

And then the creaking stopped and it went silent.

I force my eyes to squint so that I could make sure this wasn't a dream. That's when I saw that light peering in from the open door, the shadow of a figure displayed on the ground— walking towards the bed.

I feel my heart sink at the reality check that I wasn't dreaming. Half of me feared it was someone coming to kill me and the other feared it was Jim being a creep. Even a small portion thought it was Niall being a creep.

I quickly shoot up, springing my body to turn to the door— not exactly knowing what to expect.

"Fucking hell!" Niall jumps back at my sudden movement, thank god. "Don't do that, you scared me half to death!"

I press my palm to my forehead, realizing that I was being paranoid for absolutely no reason at all. All this is getting to my head, I really just need fucking break.

"What are you doing?" I rub my eyes, ridding the hazy blur so I could see him.

"Sorry, I didn't think you would be asleep."

Niall turns and is already walking away so he could let me sleep. But thanks to him, I'm awake now anyway.

"Niall?" I call for him just before he closes the door fully. His head comes peaking back inside, "Did you need something?"

His mouth parts to speak but nothing comes out right away, the light still peering in around his body behind him. He was looking for an answer, but I knew he had one, why else would he have come in here.

"I wanted to show you something." He mutters.

"What is it?"

"It can wait, go back to sleep." He starts to shut the door again.

"Well I'm up now," My voice stops him, I throw the blanket I had somehow pulled over myself and stood up. "I won't be able to go back to sleep now."

He chuckles, opening the door more and allowing himself to slip inside the room.

"Are you sure?"

I simply nod and stretch out my stiff arms, "What time is it?"

"A little past eleven."

For a second I thought he meant eleven in the morning, but there was zero light coming in through the windows, so I understood he meant eleven at night.

How is that possible? I feel like I've been sleeping for ages, but at the same time I still feel very drowsy like I would be in the mornings. I yawn, trying to put myself in the right headspace to actually get up right now.

"You sure?" He asks again, sounding cocky and nodding his head to me. "Once you say yes there's no going back."

"Yes, show me." I get impatient.

I definitely wouldn't be able to go back to sleep now, I'd be too scared as to what this meant and what Niall would show me.

He smirks as if I had just agreed to join some kind of cult unknowingly. "Great. Put your shoes on and let's go."
