Harry: You'd think that after having dealt with sympathetic friends and classmates every time someone died that he'd know how to talk to someone who's struggling, but the poor boy is still awkward. He knows what to avoid doing, though. He tries (and doesn't do too terribly) to make you feel understood and loved whilst not making it about himself, you being the top priority.

Ron: He wouldn't really know what to say either. If you're the type of person to just cry instead of have the conversation then and there, he'd probably do way better. He'd just hold you and pet your hair to calm you down.

Hermione: Upon initially learning, she'd get a little emotional, but not past tearing up. She'd always be checking up on you and seeing how you were doing.

Luna: She would probably react similarly to Hermione, but I feel like she'd be less upset and more focused on what she can do to help. She'd make sure her caring for you didn't make you feel like a helpless child that needed looking after.

Draco: He either genuinely doesn't understand the point of hurting yourself or he understands what's going on in your head 100%, depending which year it is (but most likely he gets it). He stays more on the quiet side, listening to you say whatever you wanted and watching you closely while holding your hand and rubbing his thumb across the back of it.

Neville: His heart would be absolutely shattered because he holds you in such a high place in his mind. He'd want to do everything he could to help you stop, so he'd ask you a lot of questions.

Cedric: He'd sit there and examine them silently, turning over your wrists and asking if there are any more elsewhere. The first thing he'd say was that he's there for you, and that you don't have to have an answer for everything. He'd look you in the eyes and say it too, hands on either side of your face.

Tom: He'd probably handle it very well. Not to say he wouldn't care, but he wouldn't make a huge ordeal of it. He'd calmly tend to your wounds and talk to you about something completely off topic to distract you from the sting of the medicine. He'd let you tell him in detail when you were ready.

James: You'd be able to see the heartbreak on his face. The last thing he wants to see on you is pain and suffering, so he asks what you want him to do. Whatever you ask, he does his best to do what you need- anything if it meant making you even a little bit happier.

Remus: He understood. He tells you what he wishes someone would tell him, and still admit it's a struggle for him as well. You'd work through it together and be there for each other.

Sirius: He'd be very understanding and patient- you wouldn't feel like you were in trouble when he learns. He'd want to show you that there is no reason to hurt yourself, and at least let you know that he's there for you and that he cares for and loves you.

Peter: He'd swear not to out you to everyone because he respects you, but he would also want to know what made you hurt yourself so as to understand what's going on in your life.

Regulus: I feel like being soft and comforting isn't his area of expertise, so he'd just let you cry in his arms and, if/when you felt like it, talk about it. If you do, he'd listen intently while he rocks you back and forth.
