Next thing the pair knew, it was time for them to go. Eret insisted Niki and Ponk come along, saying they were also family (to which Niki started tearing up). So Ponk was on a horse next to Eret, Ranboo, and Niki's carriage. Ranboo stared in wonder at the countryside. "Are you ever gonna tell me where we're going, Dad?" Ranboo couldn't swing his legs, he was too tall now, but his ears perked up. "Mmmm.. No" Eret flipped a page of his book. Ranboo looked to Niki who shrugged.
About an hour later, they were getting closer. Eret glanced at a sleeping Ranboo, then Niki. "Tell him. You know his enderman traits get worse when he's unaware" Niki told him softly. Eret sighed, and tapped the sleeping boy. He flinched and sat up. "We there?" Ranboo rubbed his eyes. "No, but I'll tell you where we're going" Ranboo relaxed, and the stiffness Eret hadn't seen before disappeared. "Where?"
"tHE PALACE?" Ranboos eyes widened. "With the King? And Queen? And princes??" He stared at the two. "Yup. We'll also be staying there" Eret chuckled as the enderchild suddenly rushed to the window. "Why are you meeting with the King?" he asked. Eret rubbed the back of his neck. "Let's just say I'm a... planner. Planner for important things" Eret hated lying, but what else could he do, given the childs background? "So when are we meeting them?" Ranboo looked back at Eret, and Niki did too.
