I'll Be Right Back // Oneshot

Is lani okay with fanfiction? I just wanted to know.

TW: Mentions of alcohol, and knife that doesn't do any harm and that's basically it

((btw Tubbo is around 10 and Lani is 6))

"I'll be right back, okay?" Tubbo said. Lani nodded, and she swung her legs that dangled from their top bunk bed. 

Tubbo smiled and left the room. Lani lay down on the bed and traced the outline of a bee on the wall next to her. She hummed a little tune to herself as she thought about where she and Tubbo could live. A cottage? A mansion? A palace? She smiled at the possibilities of the future.

[Meanwhile]

"Hello!" A man said, smiling. He looked normal enough, with golden hair and light brown eyes. 

"Hi" Tubbo said back, and smiled.

"I'm Philza Minecraft. What's your name?" He asked.

"I'm Tubbo! I forget my last name though." 

"That's okay. So, Tubbo, would you like to be adopted?" Phil asked slowly. 

Tubbos eyes widened and he smiled. "Really?! I mean, yes!"

Phil nodded and one of the staff people came over with a bunch of papers. "Go pack your stuff, okay? I'm picking you up tomorrow" Phil said, and Tubbo ran to his and his sisters room.

"Lani! Lani, guess what!!!" Tubbo said excitedly. Lanis head whipped up from the pillow. "What?" She asked. "We're getting adopted!! We're getting adopted!" Tubbo cheered. "Really?!" Lani squealed, and quickly went down the ladder and tackled her brother in a hug. The two siblings laughed and cheered until they were told to quiet down, but that night was going to be restless.

[Timeskip to tomorrow bc... that's how the story works]

"Tubbo, get up." Someone said. It was a worker. Tubbo grumbled, but then he realized he was getting adopted today! So he got up and quickly dressed. He was about to wake Lani up when the worker shook her head. "She's getting picked up tomorrow, okay?" The worker whispered. Tubbo nodded, and hauled his not-much stuff out of the room.

Phil was there and waved hello. Tubbo waved back at him with a huge grin (the good kind of grin-) and barreled out the door. 

Phil laughed and packed Tubbos stuff into the car, and as Tubbo buckled he rolled down the window and stared at the stupid orphanage. Tubbo frowned. Who would get Lani up in time? Where would she sit at lunch? Tubbo shook his head. No, it'll all be okay. He'd see Lani tomorrow.

[Hahahhahahaha anyways they at the house now]

Phil parked the car in the small-ish driveway and opened the front door. The adult sighed at all the ruckus that they heard as Tubbo just stared at the inside of the house. It was nice, probably better than anything he thought.

"Techno can you-" Phil started, and a pink haired boy nodded. Techno, presumably. 

"SHUT UP YOU TWO!" Techno shouted and put himself between the two bickering boys, who backed off. "It wasn't my fault! The gremlin child took my guitar!" The one with a red beanie shouted. A boy around Tubbos age dramatically gasped and yelled "You said I could borrow it today!" in defense. 

Phil just groaned and Techno looked at Tubbo with sympathy, like he was saying 'Run while you can. I am so sorry.'

Tubbo stood behind Phil, staring at the boys. Phil rolled his eyes. "This is Tubbo, your new brother." He introduced.
