Flora sighed. She glanced at the white keys, and placed her small fingers on them.
"I guess I have to be a lady, smiling and waving," Flora started, remembering the lyrics she had wrote.
"Constantly obeying.." She frowned.
"I guess I need a prince to come and save me, even if I don't need saving."
"I guess I must sit on a throne I don't own," She went an octave higher. It was annoyingly easy to go that high.
"Raising the babies we made all alone!"

Tommy sat down against the oak door, trying not to be loud.
"But if I were a man!" Flora grinned.
"I'd go to Japan, maybe swim in the Seine, and learn to speak French!"

The blonde prince flinched at the disappointment in her voice. He debated opening the door or not, but for now just listened.
"I guess I have to go to banquets, yet banquets make me anxious."
"Acting rather shameless." Flora continued.
"I guess I need a gown down past my ankles, doing up my hair in tangles."
"I guess have to sit still and look pretty, dance 'til I'm proper dizzy,"

"But if I were a man!" The royal smiled.
