Tommy had a great life. He was the youngest, and while sometimes it was annoying, it was great! He had the attention and people listened to him.

Wilbur moved away with Sally, yeah, but it was okay. Wil still visited him! The 11 year old blonde child was happy this way. He was content with life.

Until...

"YOU'RE HAVING A WHAT?!" Techno shouted through the phone.

Wilbur and Sally giggled on the other side. "Yes, Techno, I'm having a child! I'm going to be a dad!"

Phil and Tommy looked up from their coffee (in Tommys case it was very low sugar hot cocoa). "What?" Phil asked. Technos eyes were wide "Wil's gonna be a dad." He said. Phils face broke into a wide smile. "Really? Since when?" He asked. Techno listened for a moment and responded "A week ago." Tommy just blinked. "What?" He finally asked.

(Meet up between the to-be parents and the rest of the sbi)

"I still can't believe I'm going to have a grandchild... I'm not that old, am I?" Phil joked. Sally and Wilbur laughed a little and Technos lips curved up in a smile.

"Do you know their gender?" Techno asked. Sally shrugged "I dunno, it'll be a surprise." Wilbur nodded. "This was all kind of a surprise. I'm still getting over the fact we married" Sally slapped Wilburs arm softly while the others laughed. "I can't believe I married you either" Sally sighed with a smile. "Ooo she got you, Wil" Techno said, and Wilbur shamefully nodded.

Meanwhile, Tommy was just looking between the four. "So... I'm a what?" He asked. Wilbur ruffled Tommys hair "You're going to be an uncle! So is Techno. Are you ready for that?" Techno groaned "No, not at all. Uncle is harder than dad. I have been cursed with this responsibility." The adults chuckled and the conversation went on like this for a while. Tommy just stared and was left out.

"Awww" Phil cooed at the tiny baby in Sallys arms. Apparently he (Fundy's not trans in this story hes just naturally a boy) was a shifter like his mom. 

"A fox shifter? Better hide all the valuables, Wil" Techno raised an eyebrow, smiling. Wilbur sighed "Yeah, I know.." 

"Can I see?" Tommy asked. Sally nodded and Tommy climbed onto the couch next to her. Fundy was kinda cute. He did have tiny fox ears and a small tail though. Tommy tilted his head, confused. "So I'm his uncle?" The boy asked. Wilbur nodded. "Yep. Be nice to your nephew" He joked, knowing Tommy'd be jealous. How jealous, he didn't know.

(Fundy's like 6 1/2 now, he hasnt said a lot of stuff and Wilbur's kinda nervous because "doesnt a kid start talking a lot by now???" so Tommy is 16-ish)

Tommy was comfy. He was happy. And he was having an awesome dream! And then he felt something on his face. 

"Huh-?" He mumbled, waking up to see a small fox above his face.

"AAAAAH!" He screeched. The fox quickly got off the boys face and jumped down the bed to the floor where he shifted into his human form. "You little-" Tommy grumbled, but stopped short when he realized what Fundy held in his hand.

"Give that back." Tommy said slowly, the shiny gold locket in Fundys hand. Fundy glanced down at the locket and then back up at Tommy. And then he shifted into a fox and zoomed out the door and down the hallway.

"GET BACK HERE YOU THIEF!" Tommy screamed, and quickly changed into clothes (also making sure Fundy didn't steal anything else). Tommy ran after the small fox (who was waiting for his uncle) and narrowly missed barreling into Wilbur. "Tommy?!" He said, but his brother was long gone around the corner.

The little chain bit was in Fundys mouth so the little locket part was dangling out of his mouth. The fox hopped onto the railing and sped down the spiraling stairs, and ran into the kitchen. Tommy ran down almost as quickly and cornered Fundy in the kitchen. The fox, no where else to go, bolted into one of the cabinets. Tommy frowned, knowing it was the shifters treasure cabinet and Fundy would bite anyone who tried to open it.

"Wilbur, tell your little thieving fox to give it back!" Tommy said when the tired dad came downstairs with Phil and Techno slowly coming down behind him. Wilbur just sighed and sat next to the caninet and knocked on it. A sniff came from inside. Wilbur opened the door and a small fox came out. He shifted back into human, and Wilbur held him close.

"Give Uncle Tommy the locket back, buddy." Wilbur said, pointing to the gold locket in Fundys hands. Fundy sighed and handed Tommy the locket, looking down. "Now what do you say?" Wilbur asked. "Sorry" Fundy mumbled. Tommy rolled his eyes, not accepting the apology. "Tommy" Wilbur warned. Tommy just looked away. He knew Fundy got sad when someone didn't accept his apology, and that's exactly why Tommy didn't respond.

"I'm sorry Uncle Tommy," Fundy said, tears in his eyes. "It had Mommy in it" 

Everyone stopped and stared at the boy. Tommys eyes got watery too when Fundy mentioned Sally.

"I miss Mommy, that's why I took it. But you miss her too and I took her away from you... I'm sorry" Fundy whispered.

That must've been the (this is so hard to write because I'm listening to Wellerman and all I can write is the lyrics fuuCK) most Fundy had ever said. Tommy hugged the small fox child and quickly said 

"Oh, Fundy, it's not your fault. It's okay."
