Loki woke early the next morning and left the bed quietly so as to not wake Emily. He showered, then went out to make an attempt at breakfast. He saw the leftover snacks from the previous night and cleaned up. Feeling a little lost, he set the table, then went to wake Emily. "Darling? Are you awake yet?" He asked quietly as he walked back into the bedroom.

"Hmm?" Emily asked sleepily. She rolled over in bed and saw he was standing at the door. "Everything okay?"

"Everything is fine. I have made breakfast for everyone." He said, walking over. "Would you like to come see?"

Emily sat up and rubbed her eyes. "That sounds lovely, Loki."

"Come on, sleepy head." Loki chuckled, excited for Emily to see his breakfast. "I want you to close your eyes though, before we go out."

She laughed as she got out of bed and pulled on a pair of sleep pants. "I am eager to see what you fixed."

Once Emily was dressed, Loki covered her eyes and led her to the dining table. He uncovered her eyes to reveal his masterful breakfast of cereal and toast. All of the cereal boxes were neatly lined up on the table, along with the jug of milk, and four places set with bowls and spoons. "Ta-da!"

"Aw, Loki! This is wonderful," Emily praised. She turned and kissed his cheek. "This is so sweet of you."

"I wasn't sure what to make, but I was confident in this." Loki said proudly. "It might be best for you to be the one to wake Mary though."

Emily furrowed her brow. "Why?" She looked at the table, then noticed there were four places set. "Is someone else here?"

"I have reason to believe Mary has company. I found drinks for two this morning." Loki explained.

"Company? Do you think Steve stayed the night?" she asked.

"I can't imagine it would be anyone else. I am just not sure about the level of company provided, so it might be more appropriate for you to wake them." Loki answered.

"I doubt anything like that happened," Emily replied. "But I'll knock on their door."

"I doubt it as well, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I know I would be furious if another man walked in to see you in such a way. I am just trying to give that same respect." Loki told Emily.

Emily chuckled and nodded. "I agree with you there."

Meanwhile, Steve rolled over onto his back in his sleep, the blanket moving to rest at his waist.

Mary started to stir, then she slowly woke up. When she looked over, she felt her breath catch when she saw that Steve was half nude next to her. After making sure he was still asleep, she let herself take in the sight of him. She had a brief but intense moment of battle in her head, but her curiosity won out and she moved her hand, ever so slightly brushing her fingers over his abs. This man was sculpted by the gods.

Steve sighed softly in his sleep as a small smile came to his face, enjoying the soothing touch he felt on his skin.

Mary blushed softly, but couldn't stop herself from touching his abs again. This time, she used just a bit more pressure to feel his skin better.

"I can get used to waking up like this," Steve murmured, his voice rough with sleep.

Mary quickly pulled her hand back and blushed a deep shade of red. "I... I'm sorry... I shouldn't have..."

Steve reached out blindly until he found her hand and placed it back on his chest. "Don't be sorry."

"I didn't mean anything by it, I was just curious." Mary said truthfully, leaving her hand on his chest.
