Emily sat on her bed with her cellphone in hand, still wrapped in a towel from her shower. She sighed as she stared at Tony's name before she decided to bite the bullet and message him.

Emily: Hi. I hope you're well. I miss our talks. Do you want to meet for lunch today?

After a few minutes of silence, Tony finally replied.

Tony: I am stuck in meetings all day to help rebuild the city or I would take you up on that.

Emily: I miss you

Tony: I miss you too. I might be able to sneak away later if you want a quickie.

Emily: I'd settle for a hug...

Tony: Next time I pass by the condo I will stop by for a hug.

Emily: Maybe a kiss or two would be nice too

Tony: I will text when I am heading by there

Emily smiled at her screen before she stood and walked to the dresser, happy to find that it was already stocked with clothes when she opened it. She got dressed then brushed out her damp hair before she decided to put it in a braid. When she stepped back into the living room she found Loki engrossed in a nature show. "Find something you like to watch?"

Loki looked over at Emily when she walked in. "I was just pressing buttons and this came on. I don't know yet if I like it or not." He replied. "Mary said I could play with the buttons," He added, worried he would get into trouble.

She sat beside him and patted his leg. "It's alright. You can watch whatever you'd like to. This is your place too."

"I like what we were watching before, those movies with the magic... but I don't know how to find them." Loki replied. "You are in a better mood. Does this mean he is still your boyfriend?"

"We can watch more Harry Potter tonight if you want," Emily stated. "I messaged Tony today and he responded. We're not back to where we were but it's getting better. I'm going to surprise him when he gets off work today."

"Yes, I would like that. Will Mary be staying here while you're gone?" He asked, figuring it would be a few days until he saw her again.

Emily nodded. "I'm not staying out. I'm coming back here tonight."

"I'm not trying to cause a fight... but you've told me you would be back at night and never came back before." Loki said softly.

"I know I have. But if Tony is just wanting a piece of tail, he's not getting it from me. I want actual time with him, not just time in the sheets," she replied.

"So if he wants actual time with you, then you will be gone longer?" Loki asked, trying to understand.

"Maybe a couple of hours. But I'm not staying overnight with him," Emily assured. "I'm still a bit upset with him over everything."

"You will be back no matter what happens?" Loki asked, feeling nervous.

Emily nodded. "No matter what."

"Thank you. I hope he starts treating you better." Loki said sincerely as Mary came out of her room, dressed in clean clothes.

"Me too," Emily replied softly, then looked up at Mary. "Are we ready?"

"I'm ready." Mary answered. "I will get the wheelchair ready. Is it still in his bedroom?"

"Yeah," Emily replied, then turned to Loki. "You sir, need to put on a shirt."
