Loki didn't let go of Emily until they reached the elevator, then he did only so he could press the button. When the elevator arrived, they stepped inside, and he pressed the button for their floor. "Can I show you the baby fish before we retire for the night?"

"Sure sweetheart. I'd like to see the tiny little things," Emily said happily.

"They are so tiny, I thought they were specks of food debris." Loki admitted. When the elevator stopped and the door opened, he took Emily's hand and walked down the hall with her.

"They start out super tiny, but they grow fast. It will be hard to catch them all." Emily unlocked the door when they reached the apartment, then opened it for Loki, since his hands were full.

"I am up for the challenge of catching them." Loki said happily. He walked into the sitting room and set their gifts on the couch before walking over to the fish tank. "They are so remarkable."

Emily smiled at how proud Loki looked. "It's almost like you feel responsible for them huh?"

"I do feel responsible for them. They are my fishy grandchildren." Loki chuckled.

"Have you thought of real children?" Emily asked randomly. "I'm just curious."

"I would have loved to have a huge family someday, but I gave up on that long ago." Loki said sadly.

Emily frowned. "Why would you give up?"

"I don't have the proper home or family support. I am a wanted criminal, and even if that is corrected, I am still not overly welcome on Asgard. I can't provide for a family as I would want to."

"Loki, don't give up on wanting a future. I know a lot is on your plate, but please don't give up." Emily turned and wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him to her.

"Are you saying this because you want children?" Loki asked, holding Emily close.

"I'd like to... someday," Emily admitted. "I think it would be nice."

"I hope you can have the family you wish for." Loki said softly.

What if I've thought of having a family with you? Emily leaned up and kissed Loki's cheek. "Are you ready for bed? Or do you want to stay up longer?"

"I just need to feed the fish real quick, then I'll be ready to go to bed." Loki answered.

Emily smiled. "I'll be waiting in the bedroom for you then." She rubbed Loki's back then walked into their bedroom and removed her dress before she hung it up. Then she let her hair down and removed her heels before she sat on the edge of the bed and waited. I cannot wait to see his face.

Loki fed the fish, then picked up their gifts and carried them into the bedroom. He was looking at his Kindle again as he pushed the bedroom door closed. "We still need to se-" he started to say as he turned, but the moment he caught sight of Emily he stopped dead in his tracks. His attention quickly went to the slightly see-through bra top she was wearing, noticing that it was lined in white fur. His gaze then trailed down her bare stomach and to the matching skirt she was wearing. He barely registered the fur lined waist, or the little puff balls that were hanging from the left side of the skirt. What his eyes did find was that the skirt was so short, it didn't block his view of the red panties beneath.

The longer Loki stared, the more Emily blushed under his gaze. "Merry Christmas Loki," she said quietly. "Do you... like it?"

Loki tried to find his words, but only managed a stunned nod. After another moment he quickly walked to the bed and leaned down to capture Emily's lips in a heated and hungry kiss, making Emily laugh as she eagerly kissed him in return.
