The following two days passed very uneventful with Loki mostly distracted by his lessons. On the day of the party, he finished his lessons just after lunch to get ready on time.

"Darling, should I wear the tux or my armour?" Loki asked Emily. He set his book down and looked over at Emily, beside him on the couch.

"I think you'd look very handsome in your tux," Emily replied. She had just finished curling her hair and pinning it up in a bun before walking out of the bedroom to answer him. "It fits you perfectly after all."

"I can't wait to see your dress." Loki admitted with a smile. He stood up and walked over to Emily, stealing a quick kiss.

She smiled into the kiss and pressed her hands on his chest before she pulled away. "I can't wait to see your face when you do see it."

"You should hurry up and put it on." Loki chuckled, excited to finally see the dress.

"I'm fixing to, once I have it on, then I'll do my make up before I come out and show you," she replied.

"Alright darling. I have waited so long to see you dressed up again." Loki said excitedly.

Emily leaned up and kissed him softly. "Then I better go then."

"I will just conjure my clothes out here." Loki told Emily.

Emily let her hands trail down Loki's chest as she stepped away from him, then turned and walked back into the bedroom and shut the door behind her. She quickly stripped then rubbed a candy cane scented lotion on her skin before she put the dress on then went into the bathroom and applied her make up. Emily made sure to make her eyes match with a layer of gold just like the adornment she added to her dress and put on a shimmering lipstick as a final touch.

Loki returned to the middle of the living room and conjured his tux. He glanced around to make sure he was alone, then quickly changed his clothes. Once he was done, he conjured an illusion to see how he looked.

Alright, I think I'm ready. I cannot wait to see his face. Emily walked to the bedroom door and took a deep breath before she opened it and stepped out into the living room. She could see Loki was facing away from her, using an illusion to see how he looked, making her smile. "Loki?" She called out softly, hoping to gain his attention.

Loki tensed and his illusion instantly faded. He turned to see Emily, feeling his jaw drop while he openly stared. The dress she wore was an emerald floor length dress with a slit that showed most of her left leg, and gold accents along the edges.  "You look absolutely amazing darling."

Emily felt herself blush as she clasped her hands in front of her. "You think so?"

"No, I know so. You are so beautiful." Loki said breathlessly.

The blush reddened across her face and chest as Emily looked to the ground. "You're rather handsome yourself," she murmured.

Loki walked over and pulled Emily into a loving kiss. "I am so lucky to be on the arm of the most beautiful woman at the party."

"Loki, you're gonna make me a tomato," Emily giggled as she wrapped her arms around his waist. "I love how you look in this tux though."

"Does it show off my ass good enough?" Loki asked, both teasing and serious.

Emily chuckled as she walked around Loki and appraised his looks. "Very much so."

Loki smiled proudly. "I have to look my best when I'm standing next to such a beauty."

"You're gonna keep me a shade of pink or red all night, aren't you?" She asked. Emily moved to stand back in front of Loki and straightened his tux jacket. "Is Mary getting ready too?"
