"Was that Mary?" Loki asked curiously, looking up from where he was lying in bed.

Emily chuckled as she laid her phone on the nightstand and rolled back over to lay her head on his chest. "Yeah. Letting me know they're back."

"When do you want to head up there?" Loki asked as he raised his hand to play with her hair.

"After dark?" She suggested. "Although I'm not sure how coordinated I'll walk."

"I can provide light for us darling." Loki assured Emily.

Emily looked up at him from her place on his chest and smiled. "Just warning you. I can be klutzy sometimes."

"In such times I will just carry you." Loki said happily.

"Ooh. I kind of like the thought of being carried."

"Then it's settled. I will carry you to the waterfall." Loki grinned.

Emily lifted her head and bent down to brush her lips against Loki's. "Only if you want to."

"Why wouldn't I want to?" Loki asked curiously.

"I don't know. I wouldn't want to make you do something," she answered.

"You aren't making me do anything darling." Loki assured her.

Emily smiled and reached up to caress the side of his face. "Okay."

"I wouldn't have brought it up if I was unwilling. I will always tell you if I'm not up to something." Loki promised.

"I know, I just like to make sure," she said softly.

"Please relax darling. There's no need to worry so much." Loki assured her.

Emily nuzzled into Loki's chest. "I know. It's a habit."

"Perhaps, but I don't want you to worry so much with me, at least." Loki said truthfully.

"I'll try not to sweetheart," she told him.

"Just remember that you can always tell me anything." Loki reminded her.

"Same goes for you," Emily countered. "You can tell me anything."

"I know I can." Loki said, knowing where that conversation could turn.

She turned her head and kissed his chest while she curled her body around him. "I love you Loki. Very much."

"I love you too, darling, more than anything." Loki said truthfully.

Emily partially sat up and brushed her lips with his. "I can't wait to marry you."

"When we return, I will try to contact my mother and see if they have an answer for us yet." Loki promised.

She dared to lick his bottom lip. "I'm curious to see what she says."

Loki parted his lips to draw her into a heated kiss. "Hopefully, she will say my request has been granted."

"I hope so," Emily murmured as she moved to sit up then straddled his lap.

"If not, I will give you the best wedding I can, on this realm." Loki promised.

Emily cupped Loki's face in her hands. "No matter what happens, I will be happy so long as I am with you."

"You will always have me." Loki vowed before leaning in for another, more loving kiss.

She smiled against his lips and slowly rested her arms around his neck. "What will you do once I have your name?" She whispered.
