*Smut warning*

Emily sighed as she toweled herself off in the bathroom before she wiped the fog from the mirror. Her mind felt scrambled with thoughts of Mary working herself too hard and Tony with his antics. She wrapped herself in a towel then began to brush out her hair as she listened to soft music on her phone.

Meanwhile Loki was watching TV when he realized almost forty five minutes had passed since he started the show. Looking around, he saw the bedroom door was still closed. Frowning, he stood and walked to the bedroom and knocked on the door.

"Yes?" Emily called. She'd just put on her night shirt and sat on the bed.

"You've been in there a while, I just wanted to make sure you're alright." Loki called back.

Emily smiled. "You can open the door Loki. I'm just getting ready for bed."

Loki opened the door but stayed in the doorway since he could feel his brother watching him. "Were you able to relax some?" He asked, hoping she had enjoyed herself.

"Somewhat, yes. My mind is kind of racing," she answered as she pulled her legs up to her chest.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Loki asked as he walked in the room and sat next to Emily on the edge of the bed.

"I'm just worried about Mary. Plus the thing with Tony is heavy on my mind, that's all," Emily replied softly.

"I'm lost as to how to help Mary at this point." Loki said sadly. "She has helped me as well, so I want to help her." he said, not sure if she would want to talk about Tony first.

Emily rested her head on her knees and faintly smiled at Loki. "All she knows is to work hard, so that's what she does. I hope there's someone out there that can help teach her to relax once in a while."

"If you're suggesting someone as in a romantic connection, I think she works too much to even give someone a chance." Loki said as he shook his head.

"I wish someone would catch her eye, make her see there's more to life than just working," she told him.

"Have you ever tried setting up a meeting for her?" Loki asked, thinking it might be worth a try.

Emily shook her head. "No, I haven't. I'm afraid she would just shoot me down if I try to set her up on a date with someone. I do think she kind of likes Thor, but Thor is with Jane and she's also kind of scared of him."

"Is there anyone else she likes?" Loki asked, then grinned as an idea came to his mind. "Is she going to the party with you?"

"If you will not allow me to take you, I am going to ask Mary if she wants to come, yes," Emily answered with a chuckle.

"Set up the meeting for the party. It's a good work free time, and socializing is normal." He pointed out. "They meet and either way, hopefully have a nice time."

"So, you're saying I should try to set Mary up with Thor? What about Jane?" she asked.

Loki shook his head. "No, not my brother, just whoever. I'm just saying the party would be the easiest and least suspicious way to do it."

Emily nodded, understanding him. "Yeah... but who? I don't know of anyone. Plus, I'm not sure if she's going to even want to go to the party with me. I may end up going alone."

"I don't know who, that's not my specialty." Loki said with a shrug. "If you can work out the details, I can make sure she goes." He promised.

Emily reached out to gently take one of Loki's hands from his lap and held it in her own. "How would you do that?"
