"Won't be long now," Steve grinned. The jet gave the faintest lurch as it set down on the ground. After a minute, the engines shut down and the back hatch opened so they could leave the jet.

"Whew," Emily sighed as she unbuckled her belt and stood. "Tony, do we have assigned places to stay?" She asked.

Tony unbuckled and stood as well. "Yes. Each room has a little name plaque on it. You can take them down once you find your room." He answered.

Emily watched as Loki stood and grabbed their suitcase. "That's clever."

Tony led them all from the jet. They were on the beach, not overly far from the island's tree line. "We each have our own little cabin." He told them, leading the way.

"That sounds nice," Steve said. "I'm looking forward to seeing everything.

Emily looked over at Loki and watched as he took in their view that they would have for the next week and a half. "What do you think?"

"It is lovely here." Loki said, looking around in every direction. "We should put our suitcase in the room, then check out the beach."

"We can do that. We just have to find which one is ours first," Emily answered as they continued to follow behind Tony.

Loki stopped in front of the first cabin. "I think this one is ours." He said, pointing to the plaque that read:

Emily & Asshat

Emily rolled her eyes and took the plaque off the door. "He's the asshat." She opened the door and smiled at the fully furnished cabin. "This is beautiful."

Loki set the suitcase right inside the door, then walked over and hugged Emily from behind. "Yes, it is."

"This is so exciting," she murmured as she leaned back against his chest, relaxing into his embrace.

"This is our first vacation together as well." Loki pointed out. He groaned when their phones both signaled, they had received a message. Moving one arm, he took his phone from his pocket to see a message from Tony.

Tony: Bonfire on the beach starts just before sunset.

"That sounds fun. Do you want to go or stay in?" Emily asked.

"Would you mind if we go for a bit?" Loki asked Emily.

Emily turned and kissed Loki's cheek. "No, I don't mind. I think it will be a nice time."

"For now, let's relax." Loki suggested, though he was still looking at his phone.

"We can do that." Emily stepped out of Loki's embrace with a smile, then turned to face him only to frown. "Loki?"

"Sorry." Loki said, putting his phone back into his pocket. "I hacked into the tower's surveillance system to check on my fish." He admitted.

"Loki!" Emily admonished. "There was no need for that." She shook her head and smiled. "But it's amazing to see how dedicated you are to them."

Loki looked down, feeling ashamed of himself. "I just wanted to make sure."

Emily quickly took him into her arms. "Don't feel bad Loki. You did nothing wrong."

"You scolded me as if I had." Loki said softly.

"I wasn't scolding you. It just surprises me that you did that," Emily explained. She kissed his cheek then his jaw.

"It sounded like you were. I didn't mess with any of the secret files or anything else. His system is easy to get into." Loki shrugged.

Emily frowned and caressed Loki's cheek. "I'm sorry Loki. I didn't mean for it to come across like that."
