9 years later…..

My life has been hectic with 5 kids. Bo is 18, Tate is 16, Buck is 13, Timber is 10, and Mel is turning 9 today. Yes, it's Melody Lynn Bryan's 9th birthday. I can't believe it has been that long. I have been married to Luke for almost 12 years Bo is about to graduate. Tate is on the varsity football team. Buck is wanting to be home schooled and tour with his daddy. Timber is in advanced placement classes already and Mel. Mel is Luke's princess. She is okay with being Daddy's little girl still.

We had renovations done to the house to give us another bedroom right before Melody was born. Since we only had 5 bedroom and 3 1/2 bathrooms we now have 6 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms.

Luke and I decided to create a bigger bedroom for us downstairs. We had a bigger closet, a bigger bathroom and our room was even bigger. Plus we made it sound proof. Just like he has his music room. Bo got our old room. Tate got Bo's, Buck got Tate's, Timber got Bucks and Mel never moved out of the baby room. It just got customized to her

Luke is the same old. He is the funny, crazy, wacky, loving, caring, amazing, handsome, and best husband and father ever. We have had our fights but they were all little and petty. We would get through them easily.

He may look older now but it doesn't matter to me. He is still handsome as ever. His personality never changed. He has changed how he has been on the stage. He doesn't dance too much. He is even stopping touring. He wants to take some time off for his kids. He has opened his own hunting store in Tennessee that is doing wonderful and I'm helping him manage it. It's like a family hunting store. Bo and Tate both work there after school.

Bo has grown as a wonderful young man. He looks like his daddy, he had the personality of his daddy, he acts like his daddy, and he charms women just as his daddy did. He also wants to start a business and go to college like his daddy. He doesn't want to be the same as his father but in some ways he always will be no matter what.

Bo doesn't have a girlfriend but has had many of them. He says he isn't going to look for one until he gets to college which he is going to University of Tennessee because he had got his acceptance letter. Bo hunts with his daddy all the time. I have to say Bo has become a wonderful hunter and last season brought home more than his father.

Tate is growing up wonderfully. He is still mama's little man. I can only call him that when no one is around. I am fully fine with that. Tate is the quarterback at his high school and I refuse to miss a single game. They say he is doing so well that scouts are looking at him and this summer he is going to be 17. So he is going to be a senior. His grades are fine and every time there is a parent teacher night, they have nothing but great things to say about him.

Tate does have a girlfriend. She is a sophomore and very nice. They have been dating a little while. She is an outcast kid, as what Tate has told me. He says she is better than the cheerleaders because all they do are, and I quote, "Whores that blow, show of boobs, and run through the team." I am proud that he is looking for women on who they are and not what their status is.

Buck is up his father's ass. That is to say the least. Luke and him always hang out whether Luke is busy or not. He goes fishing, just was able to start going hunting, and takes every trip he can. He even asked us, well begged us, for home schooling so he could tour with daddy. Luke told him his touring days are mostly at an end but for him to try and chase his dream of touring doing something he loves.

He is doing average in school. He has his friends. He does his work when he gets home. He comes to the store whenever we allow him to. When he is 15 or 16 he can work there with us. He is a great big brother to Timber and Mel since he protects them in their school.
