31. red light

it is around 7pm. still no text from vinnie. well, not anything from him. i started to worry, but i shrugged it. i didn't want to make first move at all.

as i was drawing something, yes i like to draw and i draw very well, i got notification. i thought it was vinnie but it wasn't. it was message from avani.

"hey you wanna come over, me and amelia are making girls night. addison and others said they can't come."

i needed rest and something to do to get my mind of him. shortly after texted her that i will come. i got and showered, got ready and packed my bag then left my room. lizzie was in kitchen eating.

"hey, where are you going?" she asked with half full mouth and furrowed eyebrows.

"you don't have to know" i slammed door and put my helmet on. because it was a little cold i had black leggings and white hoodie. i am not going anywhere special.

i meantime avani texted me address of her house and i went there. i had to pass by sway house. i can slow down and see if there is vinnie's car. i swear i am not obssesed i am worried.

i got to the sway house. i decided to stop actually and knock on the door. blake opened.

"hey, do you wanna come in?" he asked with smile.

"no, i just stopped by i am going to avani's house.. i wanted to ask if vinnie came home?" i crossed my arms looking him in the eyes.

"yeah, when you left, he came hour later.. and he just left before like 10 minutes. i wonder how you didn't see him." he answered holding door with one hand.

"maybe he left somewhere other way. well tell him to text me when he comes home will you?"

"yeah, no problem" he was really nice. but i really wonder where did he left. i was dying of curiosity.

i had to continue my way to avani's house. maybe he's there with anthony. but anthony lives in sway. ugh, i hate it, so many questions were in my head.

that's when loud honk snapped me out of my mind. i passed red light and almost got hitted by a car on my left. guy looked scared as hell.

i took deep breath and put myself together in few moments then i looked at guy. he opened window and sticked his head out of it.

"are you okay?" he asked. he looked young. maybe my age. he was hot tho.

"yeah i am sorry i am the one who messed up, i was thinking about something.." i answered and i took my helmet off to catch some breath.

"wait.. athena robbins? omg that's really you." he got out of the car and got to me with wide smile.

"hey.. uh.. yeah that's me"

"i am big fan. i am sorry once again" he apologized.

"no it's not your fault i passed red light." i explained. and it wasn't his fault at all.

"i am andrew, but people call me andy.." he putted his hand out to shake mine. i looked at his hand and smile.

"well hello andy" i was shaking his hand when i got lost in his green eyes. they were dark. his hair was moving a little becauze of the wind as mine too.

again. honk snapped me out of my thought. people were waiting for us to go off the road so they can pass.

"i have to go" i said.

"yeah, me too.." he smiled and got in his car then drove away. i putted my helmet on as fastest as i could and drove away.

i got to the address. it's really nice house. i notice there is place to sit infront. it looked really nice. everything was on its place.

i knoced on door after i left my motorbike near house, not close to fence.

avani opened and amelia was standing behind her.

"omg what took you so long. i thought you died." she pulled me in hug while saying those words. shortly after we broke hug and amelia hugged me too.

"well i almost did." they both looked at me. "the guy almost hitted me but it was my fault i passed the red light." i left bag at her couch in living room.

"watch out. how did you not hear car?" amelia added.

"i was in my thoughts" then i remembered how vinnie didn't text me whole day.

"you better snap out of them asap because something worse could happen." avani got us drinks from fridge and we sat by kitchen land.

"yeah, and i went to sway. to see if vinnie was there" i added taking sip and after putting bottle down i looked at it.

"he got there half hour after you left" amelie said taking sip.

"yeah i know, blake opened door and said that he came half hour after i left. and then again left house 10 minutes before i came." i took another sip now looking at them.

"and he didn't text me whole day." i added.

"i don't want to bring it to you, but.. what if it has something to do with your si-" i cutted of amelie.

"my sister, i know. i don't want to think about them at all."

"that's how it should be. because we are gonna have some fun tonight. anthony is at sway, no ones home andddd..." avani said excitedly opening one of kitchen counters. there was few bottles of wine.

"ohh yeess" both me and amelie yelled of excitement.

and it's official. girls night started.
