Summary: SCP-057 is a subterranean chamber with a seemingly infinite number of parallel monoliths extending down a seemingly infinite hallway. When a living human enters 057, the doors will shut behind them and the monoliths will begin clamping together, one by one, forcing the victim to walk forward to avoid the crushing walls. As there appears to be no end to the hallway, there appears to be no way to survive 057 once you enter it. No personnel have ever been recovered after entering 057. 057 does not activate when animals, robots, or corpses enter it.
Usefulness: Not useful. No purpose for this SCP has been determined either.
Against 682: 057 only works on humans, and 682 is not a human, so 057 would not work on 682. Perhaps if 682 were tricked into chasing a human into 057, it could trap him. Perhaps 057 only stops when a victim is crushed to death. If that's the case, all the victims would have to do is get killed by 682, thus trapping 682 indefinitely.
