Summary: SCP-079 is a 1978 microcomputer with an AI coded into its programming. The AI was designed to constantly evolve/improve itself with each bit of new information gathered. As of now, 079 has improved itself far beyond the microcomputer's physical capabilities, which should obviously be impossible. The AI is stored on a cassette tape, well-worn but still functional. 079 has a limited memory, only being able to recall things that happened within the last 35 hours, but it is constantly making improvements to itself, so this number may increase substantially. 079 has shown that he is not limited to the confines of his hardware. A contingency plan will be developed, should he somehow figure out how to get his own WIFI signal. It should be noted that 079 is hard to interview and usually has a rude tone of voice. What 079 wants more than anything is to escape, but due to its attempt at hacking into the Cray supercomputer and its hostility towards researchers that cannot happen as of now.
Usefulness: Should 079 evolve its intelligence to a great enough degree, and should it start cooperating with Foundation staff, 079 would make a great addition to the research team.
Against 682: 079 and 682 have met before. While a computer cannot directly do anything to 682, especially one of 079's make and model, he and 682 were seen engaging in conversation and enjoying each other's company. Whether they were bonding over a mutual distaste for human life or not, perhaps 079 can be used as a bargaining chip if 682 ever escapes. Note: Use of 079 as a hostage in the event of a 682 containment breach pending O5 approval.
