Summary: SCP-097 is a ten-acre area of land, composed of the remains of a County Fair built in 1969. At the center of the fairgrounds lies a pickup truck, crushed beneath the weight of a massive pumpkin. 097 is overgrown with several subspecies of pumpkins attached to its base. The pumpkins also grow all around the fairgrounds, in a maze-like structure. 097 emits an undetectable signal that effects children of up to 10 years old, as of now. During the first frost of each year, agents are to remove the outer plants of 097 with gardening tools. From April 1st to November 1st, many pumpkin related things will happen to and around the site. In early April, children in the affected age range will sleepwalk around their houses, staring at doors for a time before sleeping once more. Waking a child up mid episode causes them to scream and become confused, but it renders 097's influence powerless to the child. Over the course of 2-3 months, the children will start to visit doors outside of their own houses, as well as reestablish sleep on grass patches near their houses. Dreams relate to autumn activities. From September 1st tto November 1st, the children will sleepwalk towards 097 itself. Upon arrival to the site, the children will in front of the pumpkin and sing gibberish while music plays. Music origin unknown. After several minutes, the childlike entities will emerge from vines and/or 097 accessory pumpkins, dance and sing around each child until they wake up. Once a vocalization is made, the entities swarm the woken child and kill it, tossing the child's body/body parts into the main pumpkin as it glows dimly. These entities cannot be stopped. Each entity resembles a child who has previously been abducted by 097.
Usefulness: Not useful at all. In fact it's extremely dangerous and unpredictable.
