Summary: SCP-049 is a humanoid figure resembling a medieval plague doctor. The mask and robe 049 "wears" are actually constructed out of living tissue, the robe being similar to an animal's hide and the mask being made of chitin grown from his face bones. 049 has the ability to kill a person by touching them directly. How this is done is unknown, but what is known is 049's response to it. He feels remorse/frustration after every murder, but he believes it must be done, as he believes the pestilence must be dealt with by any means necessary. Any corpses brought back to life by 049 become SCP-049-2 instances. All 049-2 instances are to be considered hostile when provoked and respond to commands from 049. When a living animal becomes a 049-2 instance, 049 himself deems them "cured" of the pestilence. Note: Due to 049's unprecedented aggression towards Foundation staff member Dr. Raymond Hamm, and Dr. Hamm's unfortunate demise at the hands of 049, 049 may no longer have access to any patients, living or dead. 049 may also not have contact with SCP-035 (Possessive Mask) at any time, as they appear to know about each other, and may work together to break containment.
Usefulness: The only use 049 could have is either describing what the pestilence is, or actually curing it (of course, that all depends on if the cure is even worth it).
Against 682: Given 049's knowledge of 035, we can't risk it knowing about 682 and/or trying to help him escape, or God forbid attempting to "cure" him.
