Summary: SCP-039 is a collection of 23 proboscis monkeys, all of which are missing their eyes and mouths. They rely on their senses of touch and smell/nose-sound echolocation to perceive their environment and the objects around them. It is unknown why 039 instances do not need sustenance, as they have no digestive systems. Instances can communicate with each other via nasal snorts, understand English, and have complex understandings of machinery/mechanics. They work best individually and are often distracted by others when in groups. Occasionally, instances will clutch their stomachs and make distressed sounds, then attempt to "eat" any nearby food. They can reproduce, and infant instances share the parents' lack of eyes/mouths. The infants are taught communication by their parents for 6 months, then learn technological ability from other adults.
Usefulness: Useful, since they can build efficiently and understand English.
Against 682: Perhaps, if they were given enough time and resources, they could create a machine to destroy 682. Highly unlikely, though, as anything they'd know how to build right now has already been invented, while the 682-destroying device has not. They may be handy, but not inventive.
