Summary: SCP-087 is a dark staircase that goes down but never ends. Light sources are required for explorations. The sound of a child in distress can be heard below the stairs, however going down the stairs does not get anyone closer to the child. A face with no mouth, pupils, or nostrils has been seen on every exploration of 087. The face isn't the source of the distress sounds. It is able to make direct eye contact despite lacking pupils. It has also been recorded to jerk towards subjects viewing it. During the third exploration, the face instead appeared behind the explorer, chasing her downstairs, and ultimately killing her, we assume. After the fourth exploration, knocking sounds could be heard coming from inside the door. It's presumed they're still happening, but the inside of the doorway has been outfitted with industrial padding to silence the noise.
Usefulness: No conceivable use.
Against 682: I don't think 682 could fit through the door, nor do I think anyone could force him to go downstairs.
