SCP-086 (The Office of Dr. [REDACTED])

Summary: SCP-086 a collection of eight office equipment components from 1978. Each component plays a different role in acting as the body of a sentient being claiming to be former Foundation site administrator Dr. [REDACTED]. The components are not connected physically, and it is believed the office room itself is what houses Dr. R's consciousness. Each component is also made of biological material of partial human origin. The components are as follows: a rotary phone, a pencil sharpener, a stapler, a microfiche reader, a water cooler, a filing cabinet, a scientific calculator, and a slide rule. The phone functions as the "brain" hosting Dr. R's consciousness. Dr. R can hear through the speaking end of the phone and speak through the hearing end. Ringing the phone gives Dr. R a headache. He only rings when waking up or when in danger. The pencil sharpener, stapler, and microfiche reader all act as food intakes for Dr. R, and must be refilled often with pencil shavings, staples, and microfilm. The water cooler acts as a bladder/bowel and stores waste. When reading material is put into the filing cabinet, Dr. R is able to read it. He is also able to move small items within the cabinet. The calculator and slide rule have yet to be assigned a determinate function, but Dr. R does experience discomfort when they're removed from the room.

Usefulness: Dr. R has the full knowledge and memory of a level 4 security clearance member of the Foundation, and his continued existence within the Foundation is highly valuable, as is the existence of all Foundation staff members.

Against 682: 086 cannot move to where 682 is and can barely move anything at all within the confines of his office. He wouldn't pose much of a threat to 682, and 682 could surely irreparably damage Dr. R, which is not ideal.
