I've never been so pissed off in my life, which is saying something. Not only did I not get the chance to fight Deku (thanks to that teleporting nuisance), but that icy bastard! There's no way I can measure up to him! Not to mention the fact that I let that girl get me to the ground, twice! I came to this school to be the best of the best, but that's proving to be more difficult than I thought.

When I make it to class, Aizawa-Sensei tells us he's read our battle training assessments.

"Bakugo."

Of course I'm the one he calls out.

"Grow up already. Stop wasting your talent."

I roll my eyes. I didn't even get to show my talent. That damn Glitch-girl fucked everything up.

"Miyasaki. Don't fight your teammates."

She looks up at the ceiling with a sigh.

"If you and another pro-hero disagree on something, you can't just start fighting them in the field."

"Well, yeah," she says. "But I wasn't trying to be a hero. I was a villain, remember?"

"Either way," Aizawa mutters, seeming just as annoyed as I am about the girl's stupid ass remarks. "You weren't very effective at your task."

"Damn right!" I chime in.

"I was effective at kicking your ass," she sneers.

I jump to my feet. "Shut up! We would have won if you hadn't thrown the fight!"

She sits back and crosses her arms. "I don't care," she says, apathetically.

"I'm tired of hearing you say that shit!" I shout.

"Bakugo, sit down." Aizawa groans.

I roll my eyes and plop back down in my seat.

"Stop it, you two," he mutters. "Both of you performed poorly in the exercise, which is why you lost. Moving on."

The rest of the class drags on with class representative shit that I don't give a fuck about unless I win, which I don't. So I just sit in my seat, gritting my teeth, feeling so fucking done with today.

It's time for lunch, and I'm seriously not looking forward to sitting next to Glitch-girl again. But I was there first, so that table is my domain. I'm not gonna let her butt me out of my own seat, I'm sure that's what she wants, and I'll be damned if I let her win.

By the time I get my tray and make my way to the table, Glitch-girl is the only one there. I place my tray next to hers and sit, trying to assert my dominance by seeming unaffected by her presence.

She gives me the side eye. "You done acting like a baby?"

God, she's annoying. I already want to tell her to shut the fuck up, but I continue to ignore her and eat in silence.

She sighs. "Look, I'm sorry I kinda lost my cool for a second there. I just felt like... disrespected."

I continue to shovel rice into my mouth, saying nothing.

She places her hand on my back lovingly. "I forgive you though."

I shoo her hand away with a scoff. "You forgive me?" I say, mouth full.

"Yes. Friends?"

"Absolutely not."

When the others arrive at the table, Weird-hair makes a cheeky remark about how he could cut the tension with a knife, then Glitch-girl tries to convince him that we're actually best friends. I ignore them both, just waiting for this day to be over already.
