Every day I wake up, and for a brief moment, I forget about Kai leaving. That moment is the only time that I don't feel the gaping hole in my heart. Once I remember, and the hole opens up, I'm numb to everything around me.
That's the feeling I have right now, during this conversation with Aizawa and All Might about the dorms. Every word they speak sounds like it's underwater, and I find myself not listening at all. That is, until, I hear her name.
I look up from the floor. "Huh?" I say.
"We understand that Miyasaki was staying here, is that correct?" asks Aizawa.
"Uh, yeah," I reply, solemnly. "But she's gone."
"What do you mean gone?" he says.
"I mean she left. She went somewhere else. She's not going to UAU anymore."
"Are you sure?" asks All Might.
"Of course I'm sure! You think I'm stupid or something?!"
"Did she say why she was leaving?" says Aizawa.
"No! I'm sick of answering that fucking question!" I yell. "Yes, I'll move in to the dorms, now get out of my house!"
"Katsuki!" my mom shouts from the kitchen. "Don't talk to your teachers like that!"
"Shut up you old hag!" I shout, even louder. "This doesn't concern you!"
"It's fine, Ms. Bakugo," says All Might, "We'll get out of your hair."
Aizawa and All Might stand and leave without another word. And as soon as they do, my mom marches angrily into the living room where I'm still sitting on the couch.
"Katsuki!" she shouts, before smacking me on the head. "What the hell do you think you're doing talking to your teacher like that?!"
"Shut up!" I yell, standing to leave, "And don't hit me! I'm going upstairs!" I take a step to get around her, but she stops me with a hand on my chest.
"Katsuki," she says, suddenly calm. "I understand you're going through something right now, but you don't get to take it out on everyone else."
"I can do whatever I want!" I yell, before moving her hand away and going around her to the stairs.

When I wake up, I think for a split second that I'm in heaven, due to a bright white light. But when my eyes adjust, I realize it's just a fluorescent light in a white room of what looks like a facility of some kind. I try to move, and quickly realize I'm strapped to a chair.
Great.
I look around the room, and there's literally nothing in here but this chair, which is bolted to the floor.
My entire head throbs in pain, but the real pain is in my stomach, which is ravenously hungry.
What even is his plan here? To lock me away in here until I starve to death? He said I was dead, so why didn't he just finish the job?
