Next thing I know, I'm back on my feet. A bit disoriented and dizzy, but alert. I quickly shake my head in a attempt to orient myself, and when I'm able to comprehend what's going on it front of me, my eyes widen in horror.

I see a group of villains that I've never seen before, along with several of Kurogiri's warp gates. Each of them climb into the gates one by one, but my eyes are locked elsewhere.

In the center of them all, stands a tall, black-haired villain with horrific burns on his face and hands, gripping the back of my beloved Katsuki's neck, pulling him back into a warp gate.

My heart races as I frantically try to snap my fingers, but my hand being wet with blood, my quirk refuses to activate.

No! Not now! I have to save him! Fuck! What do I do?!

I decide that if I can't stop him from being taken, I can at least come with him and try to talk some sense into Shiggy before he crumbles my kittykat to dust, which I know is bound to happen if he goes alone.

I attempt to make a break for the warp gate, but Deku immediately slings his arms around my waist to hold me back.

I try to wriggle out of his grasp, but it's no use. All I can do is scream "Katsuki!" with a desperate reach of my hand, watching helplessly as he's dragged into the darkness.

"I'll be fine," he says, then disappears, along with the rest of the villains and warp gates.

Now that they're gone, I elbow the shit out of Deku's stupid face, and he finally lets go.

I fall to my knees in defeat, grabbing handfuls of my hair as I scream into the darkness in agony.

He won't be fine. He's as good as dead. He doesn't even know why. And it's all my fault.

Deku puts a hand on my shoulder, but I slap it away.

"Fuck you!" I cry. "Don't try to console me now! I could have gone with them! I could have saved him! This is your fault!"

"Kai..." he says solemnly. "I'm sorry, but I couldn't see you be taken too."

Stupid little fucking idiot. He has no idea what he's even talking about. Now I understand why Katsuki hates him so much. Now that the warp gates are gone, I have no way of finding him, which makes rescuing him 100 times more difficult.

After I'm done screaming at the sky, our defeated group walks silently back to base.

The next events are a bit of a blur. About 15 minutes after the villains left, the pros and police all come to the 'rescue'.

I manage stop crying for a while, until I see Kiri. When he lays eyes on me, the look on his face is heartbreaking, and perfectly mirrors my own feelings.

He walks to me with tears welling up in his eyes, and when he wraps his arms around me in a bear hug, we both begin to cry quietly into each other's shoulders.

The pros and police keep saying that it'll be okay, that we'll find him, and I'm the only one that knows that they're wrong. Shiggy got his hands on the guy that stole me away from him. That's how he'll see it, at least. I would be surprised if my sweet Katsuki isn't dead already.

I rack my brain for ideas of how to save him, but it's no use. My all-powerful quirk is useless if I don't know where to go.

I'm dragged to the hospital against my wishes for my hand injury. They heal my palm up quickly, and as soon as I'm alone in the room, I beam to my apartment for some privacy.
