A week later everyone but the cold one vampires arrived. The cold ones had selected Loki and Dr. Strange to leave the scent trail for Demetri to track; the pair could travel by portal and make it a little faster than anyone else could. People were sure it wouldn't be long before the cold one vampires did show up with how good of a track Demetri was. None of the Mikaelsons were surprised to see that the shapeshifters had shown up with the Avengers. They wouldn't have been able to keep up with the cold ones over that long of a distance.

Isadora quickly ran to greet Bucky; She had grown close with both him and Loki. The girl had even started to help each man work through the trauma they had been through. Steve had tried to help Bucky before, but he didn't really know what he was doing so it made the effort a bit useless. While Loki had taken to the method of putting everything in a box and pretending like it didn't exist. Isadora was a bit mortified at their methods and began to teach them new ways of dealing with everything. She pushed them to find something they could use to get out of their heads for a little bit. For Bucky, it was drawing and painting. Loki, on the other hand, took up creating things with his magic; finding a bit of solace in creating rather than destroying. He had even made a gift for Isadora. A rose that looked like it was made of twinkling stars and would shimmer green every so often from the magic Loki used to create it.

It didn't take long before Isadora and Bucky disappeared to draw and paint some more. Klaus wanted to join them, not liking his mate being away from him, but he felt he'd be intruding. In the back of his mind, he understood his mate saw Bucky as a brother and wanted to do everything in her power to help him. It was mostly the avengers that could tell whatever she was doing was working. Bucky was slowly becoming less jumpy around everyone and would even start to engage in some conversations. He wouldn't start one himself, but he would join in if one was already going on. No one was sure how it was going with Loki, the man was closed off to just about everyone. Klaus and Damon found themselves having a deeper understanding of Loki after having been told a bit of what he had been through. They couldn't blame him for not opening up with anything he thought or felt, his entire life had shown him to hide away what he felt.
