"Why should I?" Kol questioned.

"Please Kol. Maybe you can make him see reason," Elijah pleaded on the other end of the line.

Kol hadn't been expecting Elijah to call him, requesting he come back home. But sure enough the suit wearing original had called him and asked him to come help with Klaus. Normally Kol wouldn't hesitate to prolong his brother's suffering but this time it involved his best friend.

"Why should I come home? Why should I help him?" Kol snarked back.

Elijah sighed. "He's your brother Kol."

"A brother who hurt my best friend."

"Please Kol."

"I'm not bringing her with me. That's out of the question."

"I understand."

Kol ran a hand over his face. "Give me a couple days."

Without waiting for Elijah's reply, the brunette hung out. He flopped back on the bed. Kol had been hoping he could spend more time with Isadora. He hadn't been home when she had the fight with Klaus and left. Instead, he had come into the aftermath. Kol had come in, wondering why it was quiet in the house, why it sounded like no one was home. It wasn't till he entered the living that he realized everyone was home. Elijah was sitting on the couch with his head in his hand, Rebekah was sitting with a girl he had never seen at the kitchen bar, Damon and Klaus were seated by the window with the latter staring out it with a dulled gaze. Throughout the entire time the situation was being explained to him, Klaus hadn't moved. The girl with Rebekah was explained as their oldest sister.

Kol was informed until Finn's death, Freya as he now knew, had been kept locked up and put in a deep sleep. But the magic outburst Isadora had released that day had woken her up and she was able to get free. They had all been surprised to see her as no one knew she existed. Freya told them that she had been taken just before Elijah was born. Their aunt had turned her into a vampire and kept her in a deep sleep as to harness her witch powers to fuel her own. The siblings all vowed once Isadora was found and returned home, their aunt would be next on their hunt down list.

Kol had been beyond happy a few nights ago when he found Isadora. It was by pure luck that he had been in the area. He hadn't been expecting to come across her scent. But now everything had been fully explained to him. Kol was reluctant to return back home now that he knew exactly what had happened. Did Klaus deserve his help? The man sighed and pushed himself off the bed to pack. Klaus didn't deserve his help, but Isadora did. Kol wouldn't get Isadora to come back but he could help Klaus get into the right mindset to try to find Isadora. Once he was packed, he headed off to find Isadora with his bag in hand.

"Izzy!" Kol called out, seeing her in the hallway.

Isadora spun around to face him. "Hey Kol. What's up?"

"I got a call. Elijah needs my help with I'm not sure what."

"So you're leaving then?"

Kol sighed. "I don't want to, but it's family."

She beamed him a smile. "Don't worry about it. I know he wouldn't have called if it wasn't absolutely needed."

The two shared a hug and headed off in their own directions. Kol made a silent promise to not reveal where Isadora was. He wasn't sure how long she would be here, but she deserved the peace a bit longer. While Kol was leaving the castle, Isadora was making her way to Caius' art room.

"What's wrong?" Caius asked when she entered the room, a sad look on her face.

"Hm? Nothing, it's alright. Kol just got called to go home," Isadora answered, patting his cheek. "Now, let's paint."

Caius chuckled at her enthusiasm, but led her over to where he had set up the supplies. He knew she was sadder at Kol leaving then she let on, but maybe for a bit he could distract her mind. He glanced up her, seeing a slight smile on her face as she painted, before returning to his own work. A comfortable silence settled over them as they painted, letting their minds go. The sun was starting to dip on the horizon when a knock at the door interrupted their peace. Caius sighed and answered the door.

"Yes brother?" He asked.

"I just wanted to let you know a meal has been prepared for Isadora in the kitchen as she missed lunch," Aro answered.

"Thanks for letting me know!" Isadora called out as she began to clean up her mess.

After a few minutes, she was off to the kitchen. Her stomach grumbled as she headed down the halls. Isadora had been completely wrapped up in painting and hadn't realized time was passing so quickly.
