A/N: Just going to say sorry before this starts. Hold on, it's a bit rough.

An orange portal opened for Loki and Bucky to walk through while Isadora opted to hop out of the back of the plane. She nose-dived until she was close enough to the ground to pull back and snap her wings out to let her land softly. Isadora looked around her at the battle that was raging. Now that The Other was dead, the assembled team was clearly winning. Everyone was covered in the grey gook of the Chitarui's blood, a few had scrapes of their own and the cold ones had some cracks on their skin. But it wasn't anything that couldn't be healed with normal healing methods or some blood. It was as the last group of Chitauri were being taken out that Isadora felt it. A burning pain that felt like part of her soul was being removed. Her heart started to beat faster in fear. One of the Mikaelsons was down.

Guys! Who's hurt? Isadora demanded over their link.

Damon and I are fine, Klaus said.

I'm sore but okay, Rebekah replied.

Can't wait to get this gunk off but otherwise fine, Kol pipped in.

I am fine, Elijah finally said.

Finn? Isadora questioned over the link.

She panicked as he hadn't answered and she couldn't feel him in the link. Isadora tried to reach out her powers to search for him, but, again, came up empty. She knew what it meant when this happened, though she clung to the possible hope of being wrong this time. Isadora took to the air again, searching for Finn. She searched nearly the entirety of the battlefield before she saw him. Her powers exploded around her as she saw he had been killed in battle. Tears filled her eyes as she drew his body to her, not caring about the blood. Finn was her older brother, her family.

The rest of the Mikaelson group was quick to find her. Damon and Klaus were first, having transformed back and put on the spare clothes Elijah gave them. They froze when they saw the sight before them. Klaus' mind raced, trying to understand that his oldest brother was no longer with them. The pair had never been close, but Klaus had found himself, more than once, wanting to be closer to his brother over the years. Damon hadn't been close to Finn, but he could feel his mates' anguish over the loss and it felt as if it was his own loss. Rebekah and Kol clung to each other, trying to process that their eldest brother wasn't going to be around anymore. Sure they hadn't always gotten along and fought a lot, but family is family. Elijah's mind was reeling. His brother was gone, someone he was supposed to protect was gone. Elijah's calm front so rarely broke, but he couldn't stop the tears from gathering and falling.
