A/N: Some of this is researched like how many people London Heathrow has through the gates per day and the rough flight length. Also guessed at what would happen on an international flight as I've never been on one. Things like the car at the end is a bit more made up. That was just googling cars and finding one I felt Klaus would settle on. Only specific thing that is true is how many movies Isadora made it through. I have a list saved cuz it's my favorite movie series, I know exactly how long each of the movies is.

The small blonde immortal giggled at her mate's face as they made their way through the airport. It was obvious to her that he was trying to hide a sneer from being around so many people. He wasn't quite back to himself physically, yet here he was still hating humans. Isadora and Klaus were heading towards their gate in England's busy London Heathrow Airport. The place was a connecting point for people traveling onwards through the world and it served upwards of two hundred thousand people daily.
"Come on Nik. I think I see our gate," Isadora said to her mate.
The hybrid grumbled, but let himself be pulled along to the seating area by the gate. Isadora and Klaus had enough time to get a coffee before their flight was called to start boarding. Klaus being Klaus had booked them first class for the flight. It was an almost eight hour flight back to JFK Airport in New York and he didn't want to be packed in the back with humans. He liked to be able to move around freely. The pair boarded the plane just after those that needed help were settled. Once they were seated, a stewardess came by to see if they wanted a snack or drink. Klaus compelled himself a glass of the best bourbon they could offer and Isadora just opted for hot tea.
Almost an hour later, the cabin door was closed and they were reading for take off. Klaus made sure his and Isadora's seatbelts were fastened properly before making sure his mate had her headphones. Since it was an international flight, it came with free inflight WIFI, but the hybrid made sure to prepay for the better WIFI so they would be able to watch movies over the long flight. Klaus and Isadora settled into the seats, Isadora more so curling in hers as the plane took off. She took a sip of her tea and started The Nun on her iPad. As the movie started to play, Isadora laid her head on Klaus' shoulder and he rested his hand on her knee.
Just as her movie finished up, the stewardess came by to see if they had any trash for her to pick up or wanted any drinks or snacks. Klaus compelled another bourbon and Isadora settled on apple juice and pretzels. Once they were settled again, the small female started her second movie, Annabelle Creation. This process continued, until it was almost time for them to land. Isadora was able to make it through Annabelle and The Conjuring in addition to the first two movies. Just as she finished her last movie, the captain made his announcement that decent would start soon and to prepare for it.
Excitement and nerves hummed through Isadora. She was more than prepared to see everyone again but, at the same time, she was overly nervous about it. She wondered if anyone would hate her for leaving as she did. Her mind wandered over what Damon would think of her actions, if he still wanted to be her mate. Isadora shook her head to clear it as she followed Klaus through the busy JFK airport after they landed. Thankfully they didn't have anything but a carry on so they were able to leave quite quickly.
Their next destination was a car dealership. Sure they could have rented a car, but that didn't sit right with Klaus. He wanted to have something that was his and not deal with the hassle of returning the car. After a couple hours and a bit of compulsion, the hybrid settled on a 2022 Infiniti QX80. Isadora rolled her eyes at Klaus' antics. Of course he would only settle for top of the line. Once the car was theirs, they made a quick stop for road trip snacks. Then it was on the road to home.
