Chapter 7 - Uncomfortable

"We're going out tonight" Scott announced
"Where?" Cara asked
"To a club with some of my friends" Scott explained
"Copy that" Cara added
It was later that night and Cara had slipped on a silk, red dress which was quite slim fitting.
"You really need to lose weight, I can't have my friends seeing you like that" Scott explained before walking out to his car
Cara sighed before following him. They arrived at a club in downtown Chicago
"You better not embarrass me" Scott muttered as he took Cara's hand in his
"Scott!!!" A blonde woman yelled as she ran over to them
"Hey man" A man said
"Anna! Mike!" Scott said as he gave them both a hug
"And this must be your wonderful fiancé Cara!" Anna said as she smiled
"Uhm wife actually" Scott said as he slipped his hand around Cara's waist
"Congrats! When did you tie the knot?" Mike asked
"A few days ago, it was nothing big" Scott explained
"You don't talk much do you?" Anna asked
"No she doesn't, she's shy like that. Why don't you go get us some drinks?" Scott asked as Cara nodded and walked over to the bar
"Hey there what can I get you!?" A familiar voice asked
"Uhm can I get a round of shots please?" Cara asked as she looked up from her phone
"Jay?!" Cara muttered
"Look I know I'm one of the last people you wanna see right now but I need to know your okay" Jay explained
"You can't be here!" Cara said glancing over at Scott
"Stop looking at him! I'm talking to you! Not him!" Jay yelled
"Keep your voice down!" Cara muttered
"Or what?! What are you so afraid of?!" Jay said before glancing at her hand
"What the hell is that?" He said looking at the diamond ring
"I guess I'm now Mrs. Patterson?" Cara said
"You married him?! My god Cara!" Jay yelled
Cara just looks at the table
"Just come with me Cara, I'll keep you safe" Jay explained
"Can I have those drinks now" Cara asked
"What?!" Jay said as Scott walked over to them
"Is there a problem here?" Scott asked
"I'm sorry sir, we're extremely busy tonight, I'll get your drinks now" Jay explained
"Why don't you sit down honey? I'll get the drinks" Scott suggested as Cara nods
"Here we go sir!" Jay explained
"Thanks.." Scott said looking Jay up and down
Meanwhile outside Kevin and Hailey sit in the van
"She married him?" Hailey asked
"I need to go talk to her!" Kevin yelled as he got up
"And blow Jays cover? Sit your ass back down!" Hailey yelled
"She can't marry him!" Kevin said as he sighs
"We're going to get her out of this, I promise" Hailey said
It's later that night and Cara has just arrived home. Anna and Scott seemed to be getting closer and closer as the evening went on. Scott stumbles in and  sits on the couch
"I think tonight went okay? Don't you?" Cara asked as she picked up a few things from the living room floor
"Your a fucking tramp! You know that! They hated you!" Scott yelled
"Oh Uhm I'm sorry, I'll try harder next time" Cara explained
"You shouldn't have to try harder! You should get it right the first time!" Scott yelled as he walked over to Cara
"I said I'm sorry Scott! There's nothing more I can do!" Cara yelled
"You bitch!" Scott yelled as he punched her
The punch was that strong that it caused Cara to step back
"Don't you ever raise your voice towards me! We've been through this! I'm the man here! I control you! Not the other way around!" Scott yelled before walking away
