Chapter 36 - Hit me!

"Mr Patterson will be let out on parol for the rest of his sentence, unless anything changes" The judge declared
Tears began to well up in Cara's eyes, she glanced at Casey and Kevin. Scott got taken out
"I thought you were going to get him sent back?!" Cara yelled
"My connection fell through, I'm really sorry Cara" Emily said softly
"Sorry, SORRY! He nearly killed me Emily! I couldn't breath when he gripped onto my throat! I never made dinner and he threw a glass at my head! I couldn't go on a walk without him following me?!" Cara sobbed
"Let's get you home" Casey said as he guided Cara out
A few hours later Cara had calmed down when there is a knock at the door, Casey answers it to reveal Emily
"What do you want?" He asked as they walked into the living room
"I came to sort out some arrangements with you" Emily said as she sat down
"What is it?" Cara asked
"So the restraining order was denied, Scott is allowed to contact you however he isn't allowed to contact Addy nor go near her" Emily explained
"Got it" Cara said
"I'll leave you guys too it then" Emily said as she let herself out
"You okay?" Casey asked
"As long as addys safe then that's all that matters" Cara said
The next morning Kevin dropped by, he left Addy with Jordan. The three are talking when someone walks in the door
"It's good to be home!" Scott yelled
"What are you doing Scott?" Cara asked
"This is my home, remember! Everything's in my name!" Scott smiled
"Not anymore, The house is in Cara's name" Kevin said
"Oh well I'm sure my wife would love for me to stay" Scott smiled
"Ex wife and you can find your own place to stay" Cara said, going shy
"Yeah okay, Shush shush honey" Scott said
"She said your not staying here! Get lost!" Kevin yelled
"Oh look! Pretty boys back!" Scott yelled as his hand formed into a fist
"Go on then! Hit me like you used to hit her!" Kevin yelled as he pointed at Cara
"Who wouldn't hit that worthless slut!" Scott yelled as Kevin launched for him
"Kevin" Cara yelled
"Hey! Break it up!" Casey said as they broke them up
"Wow Scott, I'm sure fighting is a part of your parole violations?" Cara said with a smirk on her face
"You wouldn't dare bitch!" Scott yelled
"Watch me!" Cara yelled as she walked over to her phone
"Start listening to me!" Scott yelled as he grabbed her hair
"Hey!" Casey said as he pulled Scott away
"2 pretty boys! Wow Cara! You really are that pathetic!" Scott yelled
"Get out!" Kevin yelled
