Braylyn's POV
"Braylyn, wake up," I felt Louis bouncing me on his hip."Eww, stop!" I groaned. Never have I imagined starting my 12th birthday like this. I absolutely hate being held like a toddler!
"Come on, Bray," Louis ignored my request.
"PUT ME DOWN!!!" I shouted. Why can't people leave me alone and let me be? Is it too much to ask?
"Woah, Braylyn. What's got you pissed?" Louis questioned.
"You," I spat back. How dumb can somebody be? Literally, just let me sleep!
"Enough, Braylyn. No one likes a cranky child. We haven't done anything to hurt you nor upset you this morning, so just chill, baby girl," I now heard Harry's deep, slow voice. Oh, he's just defending his husband.
I opened my eyes and gave him a glare, making him change his smiling expression to a frown. "Actually, you guys have," I remarked through gritted teeth.
Louis shifted me so he was holding me with one arm and read from his watch on his other wrist. "It's just 9:30, love. It's not that early if that's what you're referring to."
"Besides it's somebody's special day." Harry approached me and tickled my sides. Not liking his action, I smacked his hands. He gave me a 'don't do that ever again' look which I ignored.
Fuck, they know! Why Zoey?! Gosh, I love that girl to death, but she can piss me off sometimes. She's always so talkative, and she has the need to tell the boys everything. Then again, she's my sister, and we look after each other.
"Now that you're awake, we've prepared breakfast, and we don't want it to get cold," Louis grinned and began making his way towards the door with me still in his arms.
"Wait," I stopped him. I glanced at Ripples to see him laying on my bed. His black eyes were facing the rocking chair to where I could only see his sewn smile and teeth from the side view. I frowned, wanting to see his full face.
"What is it, Bray?" Louis looked at me concerned.
"Could one of you guys hand me Ripples?" I pointed to my stuffed animal.
Harry nodded and walked over to my bed. He picked up Ripples then walked back over to me. "Here kitten." He tucked the soft stuffed animal in my arms and pressed a passionate kiss on my head.
I mumbled a thank you. Ripples is one of the few things that I have left from my parents. I find comfort in him. Doesn't matter how old I am, I refuse to travel without him.
Louis made his way down the wooden stairs, holding me with a tight grip to ensure he wouldn't drop me. Harry followed behind and made silly faces at me to get me to laugh or at least smile. I only turned my head away. "Moody," Harry groaned under his breath.
"Terrible whisperer," I mumbled in return. It's the truth. The boys suck at whispering. Why else do you think Zoey and I know that Louis and Harry are planning to go out on a date next weekend?
Louis entered the living room. My eyes focused on the many decorations that filled the room. Yellow and pink balloons were hung everywhere. Party streamers were spread across the wall corners. As Louis walked into the kitchen, my eyes laid on more decorations just like what were in the living room.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRAYLYN!" The other boys and Zoey popped confetti cans.
I saw the table was set with China plates. There was an array of all my favorite breakfast foods: eggs, waffles, yogurt, fruit, muffins, and toast. My nostrils were immediately pleased. "You guys did all of this?" I asked in astonishment.
