Chapter 5

Braylyn's POV
Nightmare:
I'm in the car with my family. We're on our way to vacation to Miami, Florida.

"I love the beach!" I squealed to my family.

"We know you do sweetheart," my mom turned around and smiled at me.

"Will we get to play in the ocean?" I asked my parents.

"Yes, we will honey," my dad said.

"Hunter, what's your favorite thing at the beach?" I asked my brother.

"I like playing in the waves Braylyn," he smiled at me.

"It's Zoey's first time at the beach. I hope she will love it," I said.

"Awww that's so sweet. She'll definitely love it," my mom said.

"Braylyn, how about you go to sleep like your sister? That way when you wake up we'll be there," my dad looked in the mirror and smiled at me.

"Okay daddy," I giggled.

I then shut my eyes and went to sleep.

All of a sudden, a truck slammed into us.

I heard my mom scream. I heard Zoey crying.

I crawled on top of my brother.

"Take care of Zoey. It's going to be okay. I love you Braylyn," he whispered to me. He then closed his eyes.

"Wake up! Please wake up! Don't leave me! PLEASE!" I started shaking him.

With that, everything became black.

End of nightmare.

"NOOOOO!" I screamed out in fright and started crying.

"Braylyn, what's wrong?" Louis rushed into my room.

I only screamed again.

"It was just a nightmare Braylyn. It's okay," Louis pulled me into a hug.

"I'm sorry for waking you up," I mumbled.

"Don't worry about that," he said and pulled me into a hug.

"What's going on in here? We heard screams," Liam now asked. I looked up to see the rest of the boys now in here.

"She had a nightmare," Louis responded.

"Are you okay?" Zayn asked me.

"No, but I will be I guess," I mumbled.

"Do you always get these nightmares?" Harry asked me.

I nodded.

"Does Zoey?" Niall asked me.

"No, just me," I mumbled.

"How long have you been getting these nightmares?" Louis asked me.

"I don't want to talk about them anymore," I only said barely audible.

"Are you sure?" Liam asked me.

"I wouldn't have said it if I wasn't," I rolled my eyes.

"You know we are always here for you, right?" Harry asked me.

"I just want to be left alone right now. I'm sorry guys," I mumbled.

"It's okay Braylyn. Don't be sorry," Louis pulled me into another hug.

"Can you all please check on Zoey?" I asked them.

"Umm, sure," Zayn said.

"I just want to know she's okay," I said.
