"i hope that hyunjin guy is fine." changbin sighed in worry, still unable to stop thinking about what just happened earlier. "i mean, i know i just met him but, i hope he's doing okay."

chan didn't say anything as he stayed silent, only mindlessly listening to changbin. "chan?" it wasn't until changbin called out moments later, turning around to the older beside him.

"yeah?" chan only replied, soon snapping out of thoughts.

"do you think he's fine? jisung seems to be really worried about him." changbin said with concerned eyes, while staring into chan's eyes.

the older only remained silent for a few seconds but eventually giving him a small smile. "yeah, i'm sure he's fine."

"hopefully. why can't i stop thinking about it though?" changbin sighed.

"i mean, you've always been the sort of person to worry a lot about others. even when you've just met them." chan tried to joke, chuckling a little.

changbin just let out a small laugh. "yeah, i guess you're right. it really sucks though, i wanted to hang out with jisung more. but, i guess not. i wonder what things he's been through though, he seemed really traumatised-"

"oh look, i can see my house from here. i'll race you, loser buys lunch!" chan immediately cut him off with a sudden exclaim, already running off.

this caught changbin off guard, realising that he was challenging him to a race. only whining in annoyance, he only rushed off after him. "hey! that's not fair, you started before me!"

.

"well, that was fun." changbin smiled as he walked out, turning to face him. "would've been more fun with jisung though-"

"hey!" chan sulked, cutely pouting at him.

changbin let out an adorable laugh, smirking a bit at him. "i'll see you at school then." he said, lastly waving at him.

"yeah, get home safe." chan smiled.

"i will. also, next time i visit your house, i'll definitely beat your ass." changbin said, referring back to call of duty they had been playing almost the whole entire time.

chan only smirked in so much confident, calmly dismissing it. "yeah, yeah. keep dreaming." he shrugged it off without any care.

"i will!" changbin playfully frowned at his confidence. "i'll prove you wrong!"

"let's see then," chan snickered. "i'll see you then."

"yeah." he quickly switched into a smile. "i'll text you when i get home."

chan could only nod with a returned smile, watching as changbin lastly wave him goodbye. after waving back at him, he then shut the door afterwards and locked it.

it wasn't until he let out a heavy sigh, walking further into the house. "wow," he laughed to himself in disbelief. "can't believe i saw that worthless ass again. what a coincidence."

almost instantly fumbling through his pockets, he then started dialling someone. bringing his phone to his right ear, chan jumped onto his couch as he slouched against it.

after what felt like seconds, he was then connected to the person on the other side of the phone. "heyy." he widely smiled. "guess what?" he then laughed.

"what?" a more softer and younger voice was heard on the other side.

"i saw that coward again." chan replied while turning the tv on. "and guess what? he started freaking out like the useless bitch he is."
