Chapter 39

"I'm gonna use the bathroom"

"Can I use the bathroom?"

They both spoke at the same time.

"Oh, go ahead." said Khae.

"No, you go ahead."

It seems that nobody wants to go first.

"You go ahead, I'll just brush my teeth."

"Do they have toothbrush in there?"

Again, they spoke at the same time.

"They should have. Why don't we just use the bathroom at the same time? Since you don't wanna go first..." Khae suggested.

"K." Aiah walked towards the bathroom.

Khae followed her.

Khae gave one toothbrush to Aiah and also put toothpaste on it.

"You don't have to. I can do it." Aiah rolled her eyes.

"But I wanna do it." said Khae.

Khae is looking at Aiah while they brush their teeth together. She's moving her brows up and down trying to look cute to get her attention. But Aiah is ignoring her.

Aiah turned her back on Khae.

"Hey—" Khae pouted her lips.

She poked Aiah on the waist.

"Tssk! What's wrong with you?!" Aiah gave her a side glance.

"Why are you mad at me?"

"You're annoying!"

"I said I'm sorry already."

"That's it?"

"What do you want me to do then?" Khae finished her brushing and grabbed a towel from the rack.

Aiah is finished as well.

She wants to grab a towel but Khae stood in front of her which prevents her from getting one.

"Move!"

"No."

Aiah sighed heavily with exasperation.

"I'm sorry, okay? I was stupid to mention her name. But, please know that it meant nothing."

"Of all names? You chose hers, and you're telling me it meant nothing?! Am I a joke to you?"

"Because you already said your name! I swear I only know your name, her name and, and Tita Ana's! And you know that I don't know a lot of people... Baby, please..."

"Why didn't you mention Tita Ana's then, why it had to be that name?" Aiah crossed her arms.

"I don't know. Maybe because I know Lindts would say it?"

"Still, you should have chosen a different one."

"Baby—"

"Excuse me."

Khae sighed. She moved to her side so Aiah could reach the rack.

She was just looking at Aiah while the latter is washing her face until she's done.

"Excuse me" said Aiah. Khae is blocking the door.

"Baby, I am sorry." Khae made a sad face.
