Nica organized a talent show where she is a judge and a performer. The girls went to show their support.
Khae and Aiah were the last ones to arrive at the activity hall. Aiah had to finish one class and Khae waited for her.
The hall is almost packed. She could see that the seats beside their friends are already taken. Khae looked for vacant seats for them to sit on. She reached for Aiah's hand.
"Baby, let's go that side." Khae finally found a place.
"Excuse me, are these seats taken?" Khae asked the girl seated next to the vacant chairs.
Luciana raised her head to see whose voice was that. She was surprised to see two girls standing in front of her.
"Uh, no." Ciana answered.
"Can we?" Khae asked if they could sit.
"Yeah, sure."
Khae and Aiah took their seats and started watching.
They were enjoying when suddenly the aircon near them turned off.
"'You alright baby?" Khae whispered on Aiah's ear. The aircon is still under repair.
"It's getting hot" Aiah said.
"Wait here." said Khae.
"Where are you going?"
Luciana's gaze followed Khae. She saw her talking to a group of girls at the other side of the hall. She shifted her gaze to Aiah. She secretly examined her. Hmm, pretty. But she's prettier... Luciana is looking at Khae who is now coming back.
Khae went to borrow a handheld fan from Lindstey. She always has it in her bag.
Aiah smiled when Khae brought a fan.
Awww, how thoughtful.
Khae turned on the fan and positioned it in front of Aiah.
"Thanks, baby." Aiah said smiling.
"Hmm?" Khae could not hear Aiah. The music was too loud.
Aiah moved closer to Khae and spoke near to her ear.
"You're the best!" Aiah said.
Khae smiled and looked at her. Ahhh! She wanted to kiss her. If only she could!
Aiah received a message from Gwen asking if she could go to the washroom with her.
Aiah showed the message to Khae.
"OK. Go..." Khae said. Aiah went to see Gwen.
Few moments later...
"Are you cheering for someone?"
Khae was surprised when the girl seated next to her talked.
She glanced at her direction.
"Sorry? Are you talking to me?" Khae asked.
Ciana really liked Khae's speaking voice.
"Yup. Are you here for someone?"
"Oh yeah, we're here for a friend."Khae answered. "She'll perform later."
"Oh, I see. Is your friend competing?" Ciana wants to prolong the conversation with her.
"Nope." Khae answered. She noticed the girl is starting to get sweaty. She was fanning herself with her hands.
