It's 11 o'clock in the evening.

"Hi, are you still up?" She sent a message to Khae. She couldn't wait for later to talk to her.

"Yes, baby. Can I call?"

"Please" replied Aiah.

She just literally sent her message when Khae called.

"Babe..."

"Hello" said Aiah.

"Why are you still awake? It's late."

"Just got back home about 15 minutes ago. We dined out."

"Oh. How's...your family?"

"Hmm... b-baby, I've something to tell you..."

Khae feels like her aching heart is totally healed when Aiah called her baby; but the rest of her sentence made her nervous.

"What is it?" Khae asked.

"My mom wants to meet you."

"WHAT?!"

"She found out about us..."

"How—"

"She didn't get mad at me earlier. But I don't know...I'm worried, babe."

"What about your dad? Does he know?"

"No. But that's what I am scared of, I don't know if Mom gonna keep it a secret or she'll tell Dad. Babe, she wants to meet you tomorrow."

"O-okay..."

"OK? Are you sure you wanna meet her?!" Aiah was surprised. She was expecting Khae to show hesitancy.

"Yeah, why not? Don't you think it's rude if I'll say no? I'd like to meet her, too. It's what I've always been wanted."

"But baby, we don't know why she wants you to meet. What if—"

"She'll ask me to leave you? Break up with you?"

Aiah sighed. Those were exactly what have been bothering her.

"I'm scared she'll ask you that."

"Baby, even if she'll ask me to, I will not break up with you."

"What if my Dad will know about us? He's tougher than my mom."

"Same answer"

"Hmm. Thanks. I really need that now."

"I love you..."

"I love you, too."

Khae smiled. Finally, she heard it back!

"I thought I was never gonna hear those words again. Thank you."

"I was upset and sulking but there's no way I can unlove you in such a short period of time."

"Unlove me? Ouch! Please don't ever ever do that." Just the thought of it makes Khae feel a different level of anxiety.

"Of course."

"I miss you so much, babe! I wish I could go there right now."

"Missing you too. I'll see you tomorrow"

"Hmm? asked Aiah. She realized just now how much she misses Khae. A day not talking to her feels like a lot longer. She wants to see her now!
