"Where is she?" asked Marcus.
"In her room, she gave me her car key. Here..." Janice gave the key to Marcus.
"Make sure she won't go out tonight, Janice. What happened, by the way?"
"I don't know the exact details but she and Aiah are not okay."
"Okay, thanks." Marcus headed to Khae's room.
"Mikhaela..." Marcus found Khae looking like a mess. She looks like she cried her eyes out.
"Daddy..." She hugged Marcus.
"What happened? I was so worried."
"I'm sorry."
"What's wrong, baby? You can tell Daddy... I will listen."
Khae unclasped her arms off Marcus.
She told her dad everything. Marcus was just listening the whole time.
"What's your plan?" he asked. He does not want to intrude. He would like Khae to sort things out herself.
"I'm gonna keep trying."
"That's my girl!" Marcus smiled.
"Chico, wait!" Khae grabbed Chico's sleeve.
"What? Why?" Chico was stopped from entering Aiah's bedroom.
"Don't go in there. It's messy! Let me clean up first. Give me 10 minutes!"
"Huh? You never had a messy room back home. It's unlikely of you to have one. Hmm..."
"Just don't go in there yet." She's trying to pull Chico away from the door.
Aiah wants to hide Khae's pictures and other stuff. She has not told Chico about her yet.
"Okay, okay. You're crumpling my shirt, Miss." Chico raised his eyebrow while looking at Aiah's hand that's grabbing his sleeve.
"Oopsie. Sorry!" Aiah grimaced.
"Okay, I'ma go back to--nope! I'm going in!" Chico opened the door and went inside.
"NO!" Aiah's eyes widened. Oh no! He can't see the pictures! Not now! Aiah followed Chico inside.
"Wow!" Chico's eyes roamed the room.
Khae was standing behind Chico. Feeling nervous, her eyes immediately searched the things she wanted to hide but to her surprise, everything was gone, except the giant bear. Where'd they go?
"See? I was right! You're a neat freak! Why did you say it's messy in here?" Chico walked around.
Aiah suddenly felt anxious. She's worried that Chico might see something. He's checking out her things.
"Can you sit down here? Let's plan now." Aiah said to get Chico's attention.
"Okay." said Chico, looking at something on the study table.
"First, I'ma show you my friends' pictures. But wait, where's my phone?" Aiah realized she has not checked her phone since they arrived earlier.
Chico shrugged his shoulders.
"Oh, must be in my bag. I'll get it." Aiah stood up and went downstairs.
Aiah immediately checked her inbox. She got a couple of messages from Ate Janice. She also missed her call.
Aiah, please answer. I need your help!
