A/n: hello beautiful people!

I would like to point out that this is the last chapter I'm updating in this book.

I have left out incidents that will spoil what comes in the Husband Club series.

I'm grateful to everyone who took a chance and read this book. The Billionaire Series is finally over.

What's next?

The long awaited Renee +(Ajay/Rami/?) I keep changing his name. It may change again. I'm looking for something and I'm not sure what it is just yet. Any way, let's get started.

Courtney's POV
"I met Christopher St Patrick on a blue train in Sri Lanka. I kissed him even before we knew each other's names." I winked at the handsome man looking at me. "He kissed me back like he knew me, like we have always kissed and it was perfect."

"We never got along after that, did we?" He asked me.

Bruce and Anna are paying attention. We have never told them how we met. "We only got along when we were lip locked." I laughed. "36 years later and we still bicker like the old couple we are turning into. I don't seem to love you any less, only more. I think we are fortunate, aren't we? We have had it good even if we have had some losses along the way. We are still together. You're still the one I love and the one I will always love. Happy 34th anniversary babe."

"Happy anniversary." Chris stood up to embrace me. "We did good."

"Can we eat? I am starving." Bruce complained.

"When are you never not starving?" Anna asked him. "How did you survive the army again? Because the last time I checked, they don't lay out an all day buffet, do they Brucey?"

Anna is as smart as I am. Bruce is average with a propensity to foolishness when he's especially determined to fail.

"No one asked you. Shut it."

"You shut it." Anna pushed him.

"Thirteen years between them and they fight like kids." Chris noted.

We moved away from them taking a short stroll to th back of the compound. He squeezed my hand to stop me from going any further. He doesn't like this part of the compound. It's where his parents are buried. The retired Major General passed away in his sleep. Lucille battled with cancer and she lost. Of my parents, only my mom is alive. She is stubborn about remaining in Inverness. Tommy's death hurt us the most because it was just too soon. It was supposed to be Chris but that day, he borrowed the car and it was the last time I saw him alive. Scarlett Monáe was executed by Frank shortly after Freya's funeral. Let's just say when shit hit the fan, it was bad. It was really bad.

His blue eyes are deep with emotion. "We aren't getting any younger, are we?"

"Time refuses to stop for us to just stay like this." I agreed. "But it keeps getting better."

"And sweeter." He pulled me close. "I don't regret a single second I have spent with you."

"I don't regret kissing the stranger on the train."

"You crazy girl! You didn't even know me!"

I laughed when the details echoed in my mind. "I had no idea who you were! I badly wanted to get on that train!"

"I'm happy you did. Because somehow, fate guided you to me Courtney Love. You were exactly where you were supposed to be. Two beautiful children and thirty four years of marriage have resulted from it. Thank you. I wouldn't have it any other way.

"It turned out great!" I stood on my toes to kiss his lips.

It still feels just like it did that first time on the blue train in Sri Lanka.
