"Please do rise, Sir Isaac" Pier spoke as he held his hand out to the kneeling man.

The latter stared at the hand Pier was offering him.

It was the hand that would help him raise his household back into shape once more.

Isaac grabbed Pier's hand and the latter helped him up. He dusted his knees of even though there was not a single spec of dust present in Pier's room.

It was shameful for a noble to bow his knees for another but Isaac knew it was not shameful for him. He knew Pier would be able to help him.

Clank!

He turned his head to the direction of the young master and he saw that Pier was opening a jar.

"Here, have some" Pier spoke as he sat back on his seat and had a childlike expression while he munched on a cookie.

Isaac was stunned.

Just earlier, he thought he had witnessed two versions of the young master.

One that was sophisticated and elegant while the other had a bit of tyrannical tendencies.

Now he was watching Pier eat the cookie like a child.

Some crumbs even got spilled on his suit and on the desk.

"You don't wamt this?" He spoke with his mouth full.

Isaac laughed at the young master's antics.

He was full of surprises. Pier Belmiunde was an unpredictable person.

"Thank you, young master" He then received the cookie Pier offered him.

"I'm weird, right?" Pier asked and Isaac halted in his movements.

Was the young master weird?

"I suppose a little bit, young master" Isaac admitted and Pier laughed at the response.

"Please do not be wary of me, Sir Isaac. You're my friend now, right?" Pier asked with a smile on his face and Isaac knew that the young master's intimidating side no longer was shown on his face.

It was a pure smile that could attract anyone he wants to.

"It is my greatest pleasure to be considered by the young master as his friend" Isaac spoke as he bowed his head and Pier chuckled again.

"You can have second servings of the cookies if you want, just ask the head chef" Pier closed his eyes as he leaned his head back on the seat. He now had a comfortable look on his face and Isaac's expression mirrored it too.

His heart was throbbing after experiencing something new after all the years he had been left kneeling on the dust with no one to help him.

He saw a new horizon that he can pursue.

He would gladly kneel again but this time, it would be in front of the young master who varies his treatment with people based on how he likes them.

"Gideon, I know you're trying to listen through the walls but you can't. Just come in" Pier commented out of the blue and Isaac's eyes widened.

Clack

The door opened and Gideon who had a flustered face after being discovered that he was listening through the walls entered.

He had his head down low and his hands behind him.

He looked like a child who got caught sneaking out and having fun outside.

"How..." Isaac spoke in disbelief.

"Wind magic is convenient, no?" Pier asked as he turned his head to look at the knight who was ashamed with his deeds.
