"Young master! Please have a seat!" The mayor spoke as Pier entered the area where a feast was being held.

"I see you have caught quite a lot." Pier commented while staring at the various dishes prepared on the table. Though mostly were fish of different kinds, he still thought it was nice of them to have fun sometimes especially now that the winter nights have come.

"The prince and the lady are out there talking with the people. Please enjoy yourself and we will provide the young master's needs." He spoke with an uplifted expression.

"I understand. I give my gratitude for the feast, mayor." Pier smiled before sitting down on one of the chairs and people immediately started lining up as they wanted to have a peek on the young master that killed the monsters that rose to shore at night.

"He's beautiful, isn't he?"

"I wish my skin is as smooth as the young master's."

"Do you think he already has a lady he would marry?"

"I heard that the young master and the other noble, Sir Trevor, are lovers."

Pier choked on the fish that he was eating making the whispers around him halt.

He coughed a few more times and good thing one of the people gave him something to drink which he started drinking immediately.

'Me and Trevor?' He scoffed at the thought once he was no longer struggling for air and he sighed.

Though it was common for people to be engaged at an early age especially in this time and era, he still found the idea of him and Trevor getting together quite awkward.

Based on what he recalled from Pier's memory, the headmaster even tried to look for marriage prospects for the young master a few times at the age of fifteen.

'What if he starts looking for marriage prospects for me again?' He asked himself while drinking the refilled cup of what he thought was water.

"What is this? This taste good." Pier commented as he observed the liquid inside his cup and the people surrounding him started to talk as if they were entertaining him to their best.

"That is a liquor that the people of the outskirts have developed, young master!"

"We sell it to the capital for quite a hefty sum but they do not believe that it is good so we always lose profit."

"But since the young master himself said he likes it, is it possible for us to resell it again?"

Pier chuckled as he heard the people surrounding him.

Of course, they would be opportunists. They lived life in poverty and they would try to take any chance that comes by regardless of how shameless they would look.

"I'll introduce this to the capital, don't worry. The House of Masters will help." He smiled at them and the people who were waiting for the statement had bright faces.

If they were taking every chance they get, so does Pier.

"How about becoming the House of Master's supplier? How much does it cost for you to create a gallon of this liquor?" Pier asked and their already bright faces brightened even more.

"Each gallon of the liquor costs seventy gold coins, young master." The person who had been responding to most of the questions earlier spoke again and Pier concluded he was the head of the liquor production.

"Seventy? And how much does it sell on the Capital?"

"It sells for eighty gold coins in return, young master. Though sometimes the nobles try to lower the price down to sixty and we have no choice but to comply since we needed money."
