A/N: Chapter for Giddy 'cause I missed him.

---

"Uncle Giddy!" Raegan yelled in excitement when he saw his uncle standing still beside the throne room.

Surprised, Gideon quickly turned to face the little prince of Mir.

"You surprised me, your highness!" He then smiled and carried Raegan in his arms. The little prince was in his human form so Gideon felt comfortable carrying the child.

He was afraid he would squish little Raegan's body if the kid was in his dragon form.

"What are you looking at, Uncle Giddy?" Raegan inquired as he was also trying to find what had Gideon stiff in his spot. He even squinted his eyes thinking Gideon was looking at an insect that managed to crawl inside the room.

"I am just..." Gideon hesitated.

"Hmm?" Raegan turned to look up at his uncle and saw that Gideon had his look far away.

"There's nothing else there aside dad and a few vampires, uncle!" The prince stated after not finding any bug inside the throne room.

Indeed, the only living creatures were the white-haired king, vampires, and them.

"Yes, there's nothing else there except for your dad, Raegan," Gideon commented as he started to walk towards Pier with the prince in his arms.

His eyes never ceasing off of Pier despite Raegan's rambles about scorpions.

Gideon was at the happiest moments of his life right now. Right at the moment he met Pier in the Western Area, he had been so. But now, it all felt fleeting.

Who knew that the young master who once had no one to support him was now a renowned king of a hidden and powerful kingdom? He couldn't imagine it at first but Gideon slowly started to understand the horizon's his master could explore.

The new soul who conquered the world.

He would never get tired of talking about how glad he was for being by Pier's side after all of the chaos they had been through.

A year ago, Pier still had his long, dark hair and his annoyed looking face was still vivid in the knight's mind.

'But looking at him now...' He paused walking as he took the time to observe the white-haired king.

'God, he's so beautiful.'

Pier was tucking his hair behind his ear as he smiled and conversed with some of the vampires. Light from the afternoon sun was gently cascading inside the room and filled the place in an immaculate way.

Pier was beautiful regardless of his hair's length or its color.

"I see. I will wait until the construction for the houses are finished then," the white-haired king spoke with glee. His voice sounded a pitch-higher whenever he was happy.

Mesmerized, Gideon started to walk again.

"Raegan, I have to give something to his majesty first. Can you go play with your scorpies as of the moment?" He asked and rubbed Raegan's cheeks which in comparison to the time Gideon first saw the dragon was now full of baby fat. Raegan had been incredibly thin when Pier took him in the kingdom.

Now the little dragon was growing healthy and strong.

"Okay, Uncle Giddy!" Raegan hopped off of his uncle's arms and landed on the floor with grace and elegance.

'Just like his dad,' He laughed lightly at the thought.

When he assured that Raegan was safe with the deadly critters, Gideon turned to look back to the white-haired king.
